I know it's a popular beer but can anyone tell me actual trades completed involving A&T ?? I have seen a few closed about a year ago reasonably but nothing current

    Cheers

A&T has gone up in value a lot in the last year. I traded a ddg + VR + huna for one and then a non beer item 1:1 for it but I can't mention what it was or my comment will get deleted.

People are really trying to hold on to them.

How recent was the DDG, Vanilla rye and Huna 3:1?

I traded my extra one for Hommage, but that was last year when I had 2. Now that I only have one I wouldn't even consider trading it.

I wont tell what I traded my A+T for because I'm embarrassed. Hypetrain ran me over. Dude did send some good extras though. It wasn't his fault I was an idiot.

I traded an A&T+ for a '15 BVDL. Plus was a Casey Saison Magnum that I got with an Equipoise magnum. I plan to open an A&T soon for the first time. If it doesn't blow me away, I may hit you up to see if we can work something out.

It is an oude gueuze but underneath it says Armand and Tommy. I believe it was a gueuze collaborated between 3f and tommy from lost abbey.

Just an FYI, it was never distributed in the U.S. It hit Canada, parts of Europe, Australia and Japan? in pretty limited quantities. In other words, it was kind of a PITA for American traders to get their hands on. Allegedly there were ~3-3500 bottles produced but I'm not sure anyone really knows. IIRC it was a blend of Armand's last batch of lambic before he starting brewing again and Boon. Allegedly he brewed it with Tommy of Lost Abbey but there seems to be debate about that as well.

Take about 50% of what I said with a grain of salt but I believe that is mostly accurate. Perhaps someone with more knowledge @F2brewers can correct me or add anything I forgot.

I think you nailed most/all of it (at least as far as can be confirmed).

Bottling occurred on February 17, 2011 in preparation for the Sour and Bitter Festival in Copenhagen held in May 2012. Bottles were sold to go for (I think?) 125 Danish Krone (a little over $18 USD today).

The blend was 2008 Armand lambic (yes, there was some left over after the Armand '4 series were bottled) and four year old (2007) Boon lambic along with young (one year) Boon lambic to provide residual sugar for carbonation. The proportions of each are not known.

And yes, I need another bottle.

I actually have several of these in the cellar (they were reasonably accessible in Alberta). Had no idea it was so sought after. If only shipping from Canada was easier.
