I have been sampling many beers and I am a beer nut. I know there are are a lot of posts about trading on here but I need a simple response, please. I want to talk to some BA'S that I can trade with, preferably to get some beers that are not available in my area. How do I start this process??
I think the best way would be for you to start looking at the ISO:FT forum and look for ISO that involve beers you have or can get. Message that person and go from there. You can also just post your own ISO:FT listing what you want to trade and what you want to get, but as a newbie, you may have a hard time if you post unrealistic trades. I've done 5 trades on here and a few on other sites, and I didn't initiate any of them so far - I just found people looking for stuff I have and they were trading stuff I wanted. Good luck. Oh and once you get a trade going, definitely do as much research as you can about how to package and ship beers and trading in general.
Also you will have to ship first untill you get a good rep on here. Id suggest going local4local at first or ip and then go from there.
What do you want? What do have to trade? Use seek brew so your not trying to offer up brews that are available in the area your looking to trade into. You'll ship first , keep it simple locals for locals, and put in a few xtras which isn't required but is nice.
