Hello, I’m new to the forums but have had Beer Advocate as one of my favorite websites for 10+ years. With a past job I use to travel quite a bit and always used the directory to find brewpubs to eat at and collect a pint glass and some coasters. I don’t travel anymore and being a single parent I find myself not able to go out as much as I use to but I still enjoy collecting beer coasters, along with too many other things. So getting to my point. Are there any people out there that would like to trade coasters? I’m on the East Coast so I do get out to some of the local breweries on occasion and have extras from many microbreweries around New England along with a few 50’s – 70’s coasters I’ve bought that were new old stock in sleeves of 100. I’d be happy to trade with people who might be fellow collectors. I’ll try and post a picture of a batch of coasters I’ve framed for my pool room. My next project is building a bar and enclosing coasters on the bar top in clear epoxy. I’d like 2 coasters of a particular style if possible. One to keep and one to use as a project. If anyone is interested let me know. I have around 3,000 coasters or so but pretty much haven’t added any new coasters for the past 5 years or so.
