Westbrook Gose is by and far superior to AV Gose. Did it side by side recently, and there is nothing interchangeable with those.

 

I was going to ask the same question. I've been wanting to try DL just once. I have the following

2014 Parabola
2014 Sucaba
Many BOMB and Bible Belt
BCBBW, BCBS, and BCBCS, etc
Many KBS

What would be a good/fair trade ?

 

Westbrook Gose is Anderson Valley x 2. I agree with @Skunkdrool, they're not interchangeable in the least.

 

I did Parabola '13 1:1 w/DL '14 @ DLD

 

Thanks, I would assume that Parabola is a better beer. But I've never had DL and that's a itch I gotta scratch.

 

Parab is better but its also BA and DL is not so the two are only so comparable. That said DL is w/o a doubt worth a try and a great beer in its own right.

my sense is that DL trades a bit higher than Parabola, so you would often need to add a bit to a Parabola to get DL. my sense is also that Parabola is a far, far better beer than DL.

 

It is a much much much much better beer

MC is much, much better than DL. I understand the want to try it aspect, but I'd much rather have Surly Darkness or Big Black Voodoo Daddy or Speedway Stout or maybe even Ten Fidy.

 

Having had every single one of those beers, I completely agree.
