Man, wouldn't it be great if someone started a website with some sort of database of all the beers out there....

Anybody have any completed trades for Black Raz and Boysenberry since the release last weekend?

A buddy traded Aurelian Lure 1:1 for Imperial Black Raz Bu and they're expanding beyond that.

i've settled on a trade that includes four de Garde release beers (black raz, boysen, cherry raz, saison premiere) and a Fremont CCBbomb for Lou Pepe Kriek and SARA Saison Bernice.

yep, i traded Imperial Raz Bu + Biere Rose + Cherry Adam FTW for Fou Foune + Nancy.

i also traded Imperial Apricot + Imperial Blu + Imperial Cherry Blu + Imperial Cherry Raz for Nooner 8 and we expanded with Biere Noir + Saison Premiere + Petit Azacca for DCB DOS + Rare DOS.

also, for OP - i've traded De Garde for ANTEAD variants many times. usually my 2 for 1 Kane, but i've also had people offer me 1:1.

I want to trade my ba zhukovs for some de garde, what would be an acceptable ratio for the imp bu's. I was thinking around 3 or 4 :1. Would that be off?

check around and see what BA Darkness is trading for as i would think those would be a fair comparison. you might be able to get three bottles if the right eyes see it, four would be a stretch IMO.

Wow, really? Just my opinion, but I would think a 1500 btl 1 pp release like ba MZ would be much more sought after than something that hit limited distro. But , good to know.

ah, didn't think it was that limited. i was just thinking in terms of a stout that isn't barrel-aged finally showing up in a BA format. in that case, just throw it out there and see what happens.

If you want distro de garde, of which there are two: Bu Weisse and Petit Desay, than sure. Anything else(*) is a sub-1000 brewery-only release.

(*) yes, a couple cases of a couple beers have shown up on shelves on rare occasions. This is the equivalent of "people walked out of hunahpu day with cases of DBH", though.

NOW i feel ripped off! Nancy as in Allagash? I didn't know that traded well. I have one my friend brought me from the brewery. Gotta drink it though.

i am in no way trying to de-value de garde, since i trade it so often, but these release beers are still available at the brewery today, even after allowing full allocations the day after the release event.

when limits are 1/ea, you don't have hoards of CA and WA people and their mules picking up cases and everything selling out right away. i personally have no complaints about it. someone in VT asked me for Imperial Boysenberry + Imperial Black Raz for a bottle of Prop 14. i fail to comprehend where that trade value is anywhere near fair regardless if the bottles are still available at the brewery, so there's a lot of give-and-take involved.

hmm... was my post deleted? i didn't think i said anything out of line. just stating information that's out there for anyone that wants to look. if it was let me know so i don't make the same mistake again.

weird. in regards to Nancy, i wanted it as a gift for a friend with the same name, plus the guy is a regular trade partner, so i was happy to give him a little plus for having the perfect bottle at the perfect time for me.

Yeah, I don't know what happened there either. Seemed like we were having a civil conversation about the differing range of values people might have for various beers.

the details of my trade are there, but your reply is gone.

it couldn't have been because i said bottles were still at de garde right? anyone who looks at their facebook page can find that out.

maybe it's this per the rules:
    • No "what's the value of beer x?", "what would it take to get beer x?", "what can I get for beer x?" or similar threads.
