Trying again on this one. I've offered multiple Beat B5, mixed bottles worth over $100. Why is it held so tight? Do I really have to give up a wale to land a Rare?

I genuinely hope that you aren't considering the offer of BT'09 for Rare.

I'm considering trading whatever it takes to land a Rare.

It takes a Wale to land a Wale. Plus the bottles cost $50-$70 each from what I have been told.

Does this mean you'd be short on your end, and the trade would look something like:

    1- BT '09

    for

    1 Rare + a lot

    ....or the other way around.

When's the last time you had a B3 Beatification?

I traded two CCB cognac sweet stouts and one Leon for a rare.

Batch 003 Beat and 09 BT are way way harder to get than Rare. Don't give up so much for Rare, regular BCBS in quantity is much more preferred IMO.

I dont know about that. I know I definitely would rather have Rare over BT '09. It's probably a toss up between Beat B3, but that thing is getting pretty damn acidic at this point.

Why are you mentioning "taste" in a talk about "can it get done/ how rare is it/ what does it take" style thread?

I would not trade a Rare for either Beat B3 or BT09 straight-up.

Contrary to popular BA belief, I do a lot of trading based on what I think tastes best. Since I think the three beers in question are all pretty equivalent in "value", I would also determine which of the beers I enjoy drinking the most. In this case, I would choose Rare because I think it tastes the best of the 3.

I would expect the 09 BT and something for the Rare because its not $4$.
Screw rarity. rarity has no flavor.
