    Hey all.
Recently completed a trade. I was supposed to get a 2010 Melange 3 (and a few other local stuffs). He was delayed a week or so in sending his (bout a week later, not the end of the world). And he ended up sending it 2nd day Air (to make sure i'd have it for a gift i'm giving someone Thursday)

Got it today, turns out he sent me a 2011 (which i've already got, and would not have traded for). I'm miffed but don't really know what my options are. As a note he doesn't have a 2010 (according to text). I honestly believe it was a mistake not malicious.

    Thoughts/Suggestions?

Do you have the trade talks/negotiations saved in BM?

Was the trade on here? Did you use the feedback system? He should make it right somehow…, maybe send you more beer that you agree too? At the very least if he can't give you your beer back then he should compensate you somehow.

Have him send you back the beer you traded for the "2010 Melange 3." Kindly return him the 2010 also, but personally I would have him cover shipping since it was not your fault. Of course, this is all assuming it was spelled out in negotiations that he was sending you a 2010. Another option is for him to send something in addition to compensate for the deception if you're okay keeping the 2011 and not getting back whatever you sent out. Other than that, I'm not sure what else there is. If you spelled out 2010 in negotiations and you did not get a 2010, he needs to make it right somehow.
