I would like to start trading beer from NM but I know NM has some strange liquor laws. Anybody with experience trading from/to to NM? Thanks.
Yeah we are skirting the law shipping beer in all states, just don't declare it as beer. As for beers you have Elevated IPA is a great one.
I completed a great trade last week with a New Mexico BA, and everything went smoothly on both sides. In my opinion/experience, your/their state of residence is immaterial in the transaction and only factors into the equation when a licensed entity is prohibited from shipping to certain states due to legality.
Thanks. Fresh Elevated IPA was my plan to trade for others. You might be able to get it elsewhere but I can get it within a few days of canning. Thanks for the responses.
Fresh Elevated IPA is outstanding. Beers from Marble and Odell make good trade bait too, in my opinion.
Yeah as stated above, we're pretty much skirting the "law" every time we ship no matter what state we ship to/from. If you get caught because of a broken bottle or something worst case scenario is you lose the entire package, get a waring label, and switch shipping companies for a bit. Just stay away from USPS though as they have a bit more clout when it comes to "enforcing" the law.
