Has anyone on here traded across the great northern border? I've heard a few different things and would like to get some advice or remarks on how the trade went. I'v heard beer comes south just fine but doesn't make it across on its way north. I really don't want to screw the guy by getting beer and not being able to return the favor. Prost J.C.F
It depends on where it enters Canada, from my understanding there's X-ray scanners out West. I've known a few BA's that have had boxes pinched coming north, I've never heard of any problems with boxes heading south.
Ditto. If it comes through Quebec it's most likely fine, any port of entry west of there and it's most likely toast. There are a number of Canadian's that have U.S. mailing addresses (parcel pick-up services at border, family/friends that live in the USA, etc) though, best to find one of them (or a Quebecer! ).
