Yep I run, mostly local trails in SE Missouri but will hit something up if I'm traveling.

Beer of choice? Anything light and crisp...but flavorful. Probably would pick a well balanced IPA over anything else but sooooooooooooo many beers will do!

Cheers to a good run and it's spoils!

I do a lot of hiking and a bit of trail running up in the White Mountains. I don't really like beer after running though, I tend to want to catch up on the water intake. I might have a pale ale or ipa, but it's usually a little bit after. I've tried mixing hiking and running with a beer festival... It's a good way to sweat out a hangover but not very fun!

I did this last year and was a good time. I love running the trails with my beast and grabbing a hoppy offering after.

I just finished a trail run and am pounding a Victory Helles Lager to finish it off with. A love a good beer after a good run. I don't much buy into a little alcohol prohibiting muscle recovery (I've read plenty to the contrary, and I sure as hell can't tell a difference). All in all, beer and trail running are two of my favorite things, and it's great when they can go together.

I cycle. Trails I use for my commute are the Mount Vernon Trail and the Four Mile Run trail. For recreational rides I like the Washington and Old Dominion trail. The bike community around here loves local brews. There are several along the W&OD, including Capital City Brewing, Mad Fox, and Old Ox. There is a new one planned right by MP zero.

I just do road races, never done any trails myself. But, I love the post race beer, even if it's Mich Ultra. It's always a great treat after a hard run. My favorite race to run is Bix out in Davenport, Iowa at the end of July. 7 miles, all hills, usually pretty warm/humid as you'd expect in the middle of summer along the Mississippi River. The post race party is unlimited beer (it's a big party so frankly you need to two fist it), the downtown Davenport area is blocked off with bands playing every other corner, it's open container so you can walk around. and there are a couple really good breweries out there as well that I always have lunch at or post race beers..check out Great River in downtown Davenport and Bent River in Moline/Rock Island. Both really good.

Contrary to my username I've only begun running in the past month. I can do 2 to 3.5 miles so far in my being out of shape since high school.

My username came from their wrestling shoes, not running shoes. That being said I've had some fantastic pairs of runners from them and I wouldn't go any other way. I'm using Gel Lyte 33's currently.

I usually run before work so no drinking after the run for me.

In college (a very long time ago) we used to hold a bi-alchol-thon where you ran a mile, drank a beer and repeated - the person who drank a six pack won and at the time I think the prize was a 12 pack of Old Milwaukee.

In SE Florida, the only trail I have is a busy, four lane road called Military Trail. Flat and paved everywhere here. But I enjoy slamming an IPA soon after then chilling with another. Got to replace that glycogen!
