I missed a chance to get in this members club thing but would like to try some of these. If anyone has extras they could trade I'd be up for doing an IP trade in Chicago and could send a FT list...

 

The Beer Temple, The Beer Cellar, and possibly West Lakeview Liquors carry Transient Artisan Ales. You could check The Beer Temple & West Lakeview online shops and order beers for pickup. For the most part, they don't carry the BA beers that are offered in the Reserve Society but I think Chardonnay Obelus made some distro. Good luck. I didn't buy enough extra for trading, or I'd help you out.

 

There are few stores that still have some in stock. Make sure you do pick some up. They are really good

 

Next bottle release on Sunday...any word of beers?

 

No word on anything still yet. No word on renewal price. No word on how long to renew. No word on allocations. Luckily, there will be beer. It will be tasty. The rest will sort itself out.

 

I've heard hints of Junta and Pentameter (I think this was the name). No idea how accurate that is though.

That was an awesome and very chill event to end the weekend of BCS/Black Friday madness. Great beer and great people pouring it and drinking it, you can't ask for much more. That location was a very cool spot as well. The atmosphere kind of reminded me of the very early days of Half Acre and the small(er) events they used to host, which I loved. It was an easy decision to renew membership, cheers to Chris and his team and Aquanaut as well!

 

Yes! This event was really lovely, showed up later on and unfortunately missed the Royal Pies, but had a lovely time trying a couple of the offerings on tap and chatting. Pentameter was amazing on tap, can't wait to see how the bottles are. Also, that Peur is really an amazing beer, and even more incredible at $10 a bottle. Really impressed with the jump in quality in the small amount of time I've been tasting Transient's stuff.

Excited for the next round of membership if this event is a mark of what is to come!

 

Hey guys, I'm looking for a trustee for round 2 of transient reserve society

preferably someone who has some trading references, who was a round 1 member, and who has a pay pal account. please PM if you are interested.

Edit: I will provide shipping labels, and can even have 6 bottle shippers sent to your address when bottles are released, and will paypal for extra bottles, as to make this easy on the trustee as possible.

 

Wow cracked a Presque Wine Barrel last night and was really impressed. Also want to get some more Pentameter, tried that at the event and really liked it.

I think it's 2 releases in a 6 month window. Maybe March and May? Total guess on my end.

 

Can anyone give me insight on how to join this RS? I've submitted my contact info on the RS section of the website but haven't gotten any reponse...

 

If you submitted the info to get on the waiting list you've done what you can at this point. Just need to wait for some spots to free up or the club to expand

 

Can anyone provide a list of Transient beers that have been bottled to date? I am a Reserve Member, but this round was my first. Missed out on anything bottled before during the 2nd Half 2014 membership.

 

The first reserves were as follows: red wine obelus, Chardonnay obelus, wild turkey bêtise, red wine bêtise. The 2nd were pentameter, 3 presque variants (wine, whiskey, Apple brandy).

 

Awesome, thanks. What bottles made it to retail outlets then? Hop Drank, Peur, Henry and what else?

 

wayward, cuvier (super limited), junta (middle brow collab) and biere du ruche also hit retail from what i remember. possibly a couple others.
