Mind to Devour is definitely my new #1 from Transient.

Mind to Devour stands up with TreeHouse/Trillium, its that good.

Question for Transient- How do I get in the members club? and when are you guys canning your delicious beer again? I'm almost all out of mind to devour :slight_frown:

There's a waitlist a mile long for members. Chances of it opening up soon are pretty slim.

that makes sense because he used to have the members wait list request form on the website & that's now gone

Objectification- a sour golden ale aged in oak wine casks now available to go. No price listed in the FB post.

Drinking a Bark Lord now. The cinnamon forwardness is not a problem for me. I think it's pretty coffee forward with the cinnamon/maple/vanilla very balanced. Really enjoyed this one even more than I expected. It was worth the sunburn

I too am in love with Devour. It has this awesome lingering flavor that makes it so refreshing. Reminds me of certain batches of JiL and newer batches of Honeystone

Agree with your first sentence. But, I'll say that this is clear cut better than JiL and Honeystone (although I only had a small taster of Honeystone). I think Mind to Devour may be a "plant my flag" beer for this style...I honestly don't think I've had anything better from anywhere. I had a growler tonight with my brother and we were both pretty amazed by it. He said the only other MI beer in the style that is that good is Boss Tweed. I haven't had that, but hope to remedy sooner than later. I don't think anything from Chicagoland is as good as Mind to Devour...I'd say it's better in the style than anywhere, but I know I may get flamed for that.

Man, this Mind to Devour's getting some real hype. Anyone know if it's still on draft?

It was last night when I grabbed a growler. I may grab another on my way back home tomorrow if it's still on.

It kicked. I asked a friend that was stopping by on a drive through, and he said it was gone.

I mean he could've just said, "myself and the homeless lady who throws cats that I paid 20 bucks to come with me to the brewery, each grabbed one."

Anyone else get green apple out of their bottle of kentuckley? Super strong on the nose and carried into taste for me and several others at a share a week ago. I hope to hear that it was only that bottle!

I got some moderate green apple. While it was slightly distracting it didn't ruin the beer.

Yikes. I'll be cracking a bottle Sunday of Kentuckley, so I hope no green apple.

Does anyone know what barrels Transient used?
