Got there at 1030am.......was behind about 4 members, maybe 5...then its like the flood gate opened with members who all piled up front and seemed to forget how to form a single file line like we were all taught in KINDERGARTEN!!!

^^^^^ that being said..............This years Kentuckley was WAY better than last years........I like rye barrels so for me the Ruckley was the best

^^^^^^^^and you JOKER members know who you are that opted to make a pile and push in instead of being single file......rant over

You know, there are always friends that can help ease your burden of having too much of this beer. :sunglasses:

Had to trade crazy high (before limits announced) to get a couple since I couldn’t make the release, hoping at least someone else comes through with a couple bottles. Most excited to try Ruckley, love Gray Skies (sipping on their bourbon now) distillery, Ruckley is the first beer released using their spent barrels. Their Hopped Gin is really good and the owners are great guys, glad to see the good reviews so far from their barrels.

Had both Ruckley and Canuckley and holy shit are they good. Knocked these variants out of the park. Glad I made the trip from Chicago

For me Kentuckley was the best variant & far better than last year's version.
I actually thought Rum Jumbie was the best variant at Buckley Day 2017.
If you like sweeet then Canuckley is for you & Bring the Ruckley is really good too & definitely different than Kentuckley

Yeah Rum Jumbie at BD17 was awesome. What was released later was a different story

Was most eager for the Ruckley, but man Canuckley was best in show today. All 3 BA were terrific but Canuckley, wow! Ruckley was a tad hot, I think this will be great in 6-12 months.
Was well worth the trip and wait in line. I had a blast.

Here now - no Ruckley, but seems plenty of Kentuckley (limit 2), Canuckley (2), Buckley (6), and Bark Lord (1).

At the end of the day on Sunday Transient told me they have a few cases of Kentuckly left and about a case of Cunuckly; lots of Buckley. I won’t be able to head down until Wednesday when they are next open for regular hours.

Yeah, what in the hell happened there? At last year's Bark Lord day the Rum Jumbie was incredible.

I think I get what you guys are saying. I'll make sure to share the chug video I make with all the variants.

I saw bottles of Rum Jumbie at Capone's today. Are you folks saying the released bottles aren't good?

I was very disappointed. However, I do have a number of friends that thought it was great from the bottle. Might be worth a shot.

^^^^I thought Rum Jumbie was a train wreck:rolling_eyes:........sent my extra bottles to my Florida buddies for free, they were less Tham impressed.

There is still plenty of Canuckly, Bark Lord, Kentuckly, and Buckley on the shelf as of 4:20 Wednesday.
