I'm in for one. Had their F2 and it was a wonderful brew. Really enjoyed their grapefruit witbier that's being released soon as well.

It's hard to confidently do this with no ratings on BA's system. I was debating it purely for the yeast strains as I would like to use then in my home brew. Even then though, I couldn't justify it as I don't live in the city and paying for the bridges and tunnels for an unknown barreling program just didn't make sense. I wish them luck and hope they make beer so great that I'll be kicking myself for not signing up.

The grapefruit one does sound good, hoping they use fruit on more of these small batches.

Been impressed with what I've had from these guys. That said, they're close enough to me that I feel that I can just pop in whenever a bottle of something I want is up rather than pre-buy it through a CSB.

In for one. I haven't tried their brews, but the shear proximity to Manhattan can't be ignored. Plus I've been waiting for an east coast brewery to dabble extensively in farmhouse funk.

Did they sell out all 200 CSB allocations? Just curious. I believe there are Transmitter bottles available for sale at Eastern District in BK.

Triboro in Astoria also has bottles on their shelves.

Got to meet the Transmitter crew last night at their launch tasting party at Brouwerij Lane and tasted a bunch of their beers.

F2 Brett Farmhouse: Delicious sour where the brett is very subdued. Clean and smooth.
T1 Tripel Ale: The honey really comes through on this one.
W1 Wit: A nice crisp witbier.
S6 Sour: A great sour. Good nose and low funk.
S4 Saison: Good saison, but can't fully judge this one since they had some line trouble with the tap and the carbonation was low.

I bought a bottle of the G3 Golden Ale, but I have not tasted it yet.

Overall I'm looking forward to what else these guys brew up!

Had the T1, W1 and F3 this weekend, the F3 being the best of the bunch by far and I think will only get better. T1 was a little hot but should also mellow and W1 was a good wheat, but unfortunately didn't get much grapefruit.

Heading out there for the first time this weekend to pick up my stuff. For those of you who have been there already, do they offer growler fills and pints/tasters for sale?

I think the plan is for them to eventually keg and offer growlers, but right now they are a bottle-only operation.

Stopped in and tried all of their stuff and walked away quite impressed. Some of the brett stuff needed some age but it was all good, dry and had great potential. One of the few nano’s I’m going to keep following.
