I plan on doing a little trip tomorrow from Nassau to visit Other Half, SingleCut and Transmitter. I plan on going to SingleCut first because they open at 4 (the others open at 5) then swinging by Transmitter on my way to Other Half. I will probably get there right when they open.

For those who have been recently: Has there been much of a wait? Also, what are the prices like?

    Thanks

I paid $16 for a bottle of G3 at the launch party.

I stopped by today to pick up my first alottment in the CBS. Easy to get to from midtown/UES with a car, but going to have to see if there is a better way if I'm going to go monthly as the cost of renting a car will add up.

Basically a small office they are selling out of and pouring 1 oz. tastes out of, attached to a small storage unit-type place in an industrial park.

I got to try tastes of the three beers they were selling today, which were:

W1: A basic but tasty witbier. Definite coriander and grapefruit to the taste, pretty nice.
T1: Of the 3 1-2 oz. samples I tried, this was originally my favorite. Nice citrus and honey to it, and definitely didn't taste like 9.1%. I bought a 750ml bottle of this and I am definitely looking forward to trying a bigger sample size.
F3: I like this in the moment (though not as much as T1), but having just finished off a 750ml bottle of this, I liked it more the more I drank it and the more it warmed up a bit. Lots of brett and a bit simple in that respect but if you like brett, I think it is pretty good.

Overall I was pretty happy with the 3 beers of theirs I got to try, and definitely see this as a good start. It sounds like next month the CBS beer will be another saison with brett but with an extra brett strain added. It also looked like they had a sour coming up which I'll be very interested to try. Looking forward to seeing what they put out over the next few months.

Take the 7 train. It's a 5-minute walk from the Vernon/Jackson Ave. stop. And without a car you can hit Alewife for a couple on the way home.

Stopped in here again yesterday and once again was impressed with everything they had. Bought a W1 and enjoyed it there. Can't wait for the upcoming sour blonde!!

Thank you for this advice. Have never actually been to Alewife but thinking I'll go by there on Saturday after picking up my bottles. Didn't realize how easy it was via Brand Central to hit both up!
