Talk to me about how to Transport my beer on my Vacation? Now I know that sounds silly, but what about it shaking up to much on the road? I know my first instinct is to just keg some beer and carbonize it when I arrive would probably be best right?

Believe it or not but rough transportation is not a good thing for commercially bottled beers either but overall this seems to 'work' out OK for the commercial breweries that distribute their beers.

The one advice I would provide is to take measures to not expose your beer to hot temperatures; hot temperatures 'kill' beers (homebrewed and commercial). I would suggest that you place your beers in a cooler and keep them cool.

    Most importantly: enjoy your vacation!!

    Cheers!

I agree with Jack, but I'll also add that even if your bottles are chilled during transport you don't want to crack one open as soon as you arrive. Let them rest a spell because of the aggitation that they have received in transit.
