    Hey all,

In a couple weeks, I'll be moving into a new apartment. I have a wine fridge with 9 small-format bottles and 7 large-format bottles. As it will undoubtedly be a hot day, the beer will likely be un-cooled for about 2-2 1/2 hours, and my car has no A/C, I'm trying to find the best way to preserve my beers during that time.

The best I've come up with is wrapping the beers in multiple layers of plastic bags and putting them in a cooler and on ice (the plastic being used to preserve the labels), but I'm worried it will numb my bottle-conditioned beers. Would I be better off just keeping them in my wine fridge and putting them in a low, dark place in my car?

What are your thoughts? Any help would be much appreciated!

2-2.5 hours won't do anything to the beers, you should be totally fine with that.

Cool. Perhaps I'm just being overly cautious, as I have some heavy hitters I want to hang on to for another year or two. Thanks for setting my worries at ease!

Beer gets driven around in delivery trucks all day long in the heat. Two hours is nothing.
