I've heard 3rd hand that he may be opening his own brewery soon. The embarrassment of riches in our tiny state continues...

He will be opening his own brewery, but I am duty-bound to leave it at that. Not being cagey - simply vowed to respect the situation-in-development.

Begs the question. Who is at Trapp?

I enjoyed what Allan brewed at Trapp and I look forward to tasting the new brewer's output as well. I look forward to seeing what Allan has up his sleeve next.

Jamie Griffith, he has been working with Alan forever. He will do a fine job, I stopped up to visit with him last week and he was running around brewery doing 100 different things, just like Alan would have been.

His new brewing assistant is a nice guy named Dan.

Time to resurrect this thread, as the news is now official, and public. Jamie has departed Trapps to continue brewing with Alan Van Anda. They are starting a new brewery at the former site of Rock Art in Morrisville - so ironic. (Alan brewed for Matt at RA a long time ago.) I heard JP from Magic Hat is taking over the Trapp's operation. Crap - I hope I have that right - you cannot believe how much movement there is in VT's brewing biz right now! Hard to keep up!
