I've stopped into two stores in Martinez that both had pretty decent selections. Toast Wine and Beverage was a bit more upscale, and thus a bit more pricey. Beverage Outlet was kinda ghetto, but had better prices. I worried a bit about picking up shelf turds at Beverage Outlet. Hope this helps.

 

I've not had much luck in Augusta, but there is a nice brewpub just across the river in downtown Aiken:
