I'm going to be in the West Palm area (Palm Beach Gardens to be exact) from the 10th to the 15th. I'm looking for some recommendations for bars and bottles shops, as well as specific beers I should try while I'm down there. I've been to Yard House which was good, but looking for something a little less corporate. Any help is appreciated!

Total Wine is about the best shop selection in Gardens. As far as bars with good beer, I honestly can't think of too much beyond Yard House in the immediate area. If you go south to West Palm, the Blind Monk is great. A bit north is. Tequesta brewing, which is great(Corner Cafe and Hog Snappers are also great restaurants right next door)

We have a Total Wine up here in Philly and it's got a great selection so I will definitely be hitting that up while I'm there. Are there any great beers that are available down there that I should get my hands on if I can find them?

Really, anything Cigar City Brewing that you find you should scoop up. You might even be able to pick up some Maduro and/or Jai Alai in cans when you're here. Hard to say what will be on the shelves, since CCB just gets absolutely snatched up when they hit the shelves.

Beyond that, just take a look at what you get vs. what we get (seekabrew.com) and I'm sure you'll find something to drink. SweetWater and RedBrick make some decent offerings, but CCB is the FL bread and butter at the moment.

Being originally from Philly and a constant visitor I can say there isn't a terrible lot bottle wise we get that you don't. CCB as mentioned might be your best bet. As HopsJunkie said Red Brick makes some decent stuff especially the Mason series. Tequesta Brewing just released a bottle of a Belgian Dubbel I believe. And down here at Due South (in Boynton Beach) we have bottles of our pumpkin and Category 5 IPA.

You have Cat5 bottles still? Oh, I might have to stop by when I'm down there on Saturday. You open at 11am, right? How much are the bottles?
