Gonna be travelling through PA the long way, 76->70 on my way to Ohio next week. Looks like Troegs is right along the way which is awesome. Couldn't find any info on the tap room/retail hours, can anyone shed some light? Unfortunately I can't drink much but would like to take some bottles with me. Also anywhere else that isn't too far off the beaten path I should stop? Thanks!

Stoudt's is something like a mile off the turnpike (exit 286 IIRC). Pretty sure Troegs isn't overly close to the turnpike, but honestly, I've never gotten off at the Lebanon/Lancaster exit. If you're getting on the turnpike at King of Prussia, there's a Wegmans right there with a really good selection. Al's of Hampden/Pizza Boy isn't really close to the turnpike, but you could make a nice little loop on 81 and save some toll money...

Doesn't anyone ever look at a map? You don't go anywhere near Phila. from NY unless you're really hell bent on it. I-78 from NY to 81. Get off before Harrisburg, go to Troegs, then head west and pick up 76. Not all that far out of your way.

He said "the long way", which says to me he was taking 76 through Philly and onto the turnpike.

Also Victory Brewing in Downingtown, PA, get off at the King of Prussia exit and it's just a few short miles off the Turnpike.
Troegs is easy to find in Hershey, it's just past the Giant Center and Amusement Park headed North.
Have fun, and I'm sure you will. ^^/

Edit: looks like I made the same error, forget Victory then. It's way outta your way.
