*Forgive me if there is another thread, but I couldn't find one pertaining to this.

Has anyone ever been to this? http://microbrewandmusic.com/
Thoughts? Opinions? It's coming up, Aug 21-22.
If you have been, what ticket did you purchase? I'm wondering if the $240 VIP is worth it for the weekend pass or if I should do the more economical $100 GA pass. Thanks in advance.

So I went 3 years ago (Summer 2012?) and I thought it was fantastic. I think back then it was only one day and the prices were much cheaper. We did the VIP and back then I don't think it was worth it because it never really got crazy crowded and they didn't tap the bigger beers until later anyway. Whether that's changed, I'm not sure. My parents went last year and said it still wasn't super crowded and they had a good time. They had all your typical local Michigan beers including some unique tap room one-offs from most places. I remember having an amazing time because it was the first time I got to try both Black Note and BCBS and there was only a modest line for both, so I got multiple pours. Of course, that was three years ago and hype is different now, but it was still awesome. I'd definitely recommend going. I love Traverse City and this is a great outdoor event. Maybe just start with the GA pass for your first time, then decide about VIP if you return next year.

    Cheers!
