Traverse City Suggestions

TC people, has anyone seen any Leelanau Brewing bottles on the shelves anywhere? I know there are not at Jacks, BevCo, or Bayside. Hoping a smaller spot has a bottle.

 

As a frequent traveler to the area from Chicago, psykosis is spot on with his recommendation...

I'll be there in August and again in Dec... Looking forward to it as always... Interested in Right Brains new location...

 

Try to get a tour of the production facility at North Peak if you can, before production moves downstate to a larger facility in a few months.
Also, regarding growlers, many MI breweries will fill growlers from other breweries, but it is technically not legal here, so don't get bummed if someone won't. If someone does, then you got lucky.
Although with all the great artwork on growlers, why wouldn't you want one from each place you visit?

 

Awesome thread, and good timing. I just joined the Kingsley Club about 10 minutes outside of town, so I'll be heading up from Chicago five or six more times before the end of the summer and will definitely be looking to hit up some of these places. Went to Seven Monks on my trip up there last month and found it to be pretty solid.

As for growlers, I seem to recall the folks at Founders saying they would fill growlers from other breweries. I'm not 100% positive on that, but I'm pretty sure that's what they told us.
