Need help with good places to buy and current availability to bring back to NC. Open to almost any style. Just not a fan of wheat beers. Looking for the usual suspects that everyone asks about, plus local favorites, up and coming breweries , or under the radar stuff. All help of course is much appreciated. Thanks
Russian River is about an hour from Fairfield, might as well visit to pick up Pliny, Blind Pig, Supplication, Consecration, etc...
Heretic is about 3 minutes from the main gate. Berryessa brewing is about 20 minutes from the base, Davis Beer Shoppe is about 30 minutes from the base. If you are in the area over the weekend, hit Rare Barrel in Berkley about 35-45 minute out. When are you coming to Travis? Bring some Wicked Weed for me.
W We get Heretic in nc, but still may go and check it out. Gonna be there tomorrow, but not coming from NC so no WW beers. But if you ever what to set something up let me know.
Right Eye Brewery in Suisun City. If you don't want to deal with lines at RR, head east to West Sac for Bike Dog, Yolo, and entire Sacramento beer scene (much closer drive)
Lagunitas is on the way to RR, and Bear Republic is just a bit further. Petaluma Hills, 101 North, Redwood Curtain are all up there as well. Don't forget about Drakes and Faction in the East bay as well.
