Have a bottle at home and will likely try before Christmas. Interesting release from Tree, nice to see!

Sweet! I'm looking forward to your review since its unlikely I'll get mine until the spring. Sounds tasty though!!

Nice! I shipped my trade out to my bro last week, so could have my bottle sooner than later, but he'll have to ship quick to beat the cold. Looking forward to the review!

Here's what I thought: A pretty interesting release from Tree, although way overpriced imo. It's very light at 5% and I didn't think the beer had enough barrel aging to warrant the price tag. Like a few others have said in the reviews I read, it tastes like a slightly woody thirsty beaver (their regular amber ale - which isn't anything worth searching out). It wasn't bad, just very underwhelming. Super sessionable, I could easily have had the whole 750ml bottle myself in 15 minutes. A good try from Tree, but with the almost $20 price, it didn't deliver for me.
