Decided to wait it out until tomorrow due to the weather. That’s a solid move, and what I have been doing. 3 4 packs and a tip. They have some great mixed cases, but lately they’ve been killing the 4 pack releases (very gggreennn, very green, king Julius, king jjjuliusss)

Don’t sleep on Old Man conditioned in horizontal tanks. Amazing. Always been a fan of Old Man, but this most recent iteration is prime time.

Nice "weasel" (in my best Pauly Shore voice) to sneak in the buy in minimum.

Now there is something you don't hear every day. Only baby bright seems to gets more of a bad rap. Smoker will be running on sat and old man is a great compliment to the ribs and pulled pork.

Picked up a 4 pack of kJ, 4 pack of kjjj and 2 4s of jjjuliusss this morning. Jjjuliusss is probably my favorite “American ipa”

I’ve noticed that, once in a while, it will say brewed in Monson, including the most recent king jjjuliusss batch...I assume they still own the location, do they still brew there?

yes, and every decent batch of beer they've released since moving to Charlton has been brewed there.

As an avid reader of this board for the last 6+ years I am finally inspired to start a BA account after reading the Sleep/Earth thread. I own a brewery in MA where we do a lot of metal themed beers/packaging. I am not here to promote my brewery simply mentioning this because we love to see people who love these themes check us out.

We have a beer called Hopsmoker which is an obvious tribute to Dopesmoker that we have released a couple times and seems like people love the Sleep reference each time we do. We even actually brewed a beer with Earth before COVID and released it in conjunction with their last album, it was the highlight of the year for me when we did it!

I will probably go back to lurking now, cheers!

WMB's so far from Worcester but I'll be honest, the Hopsmoker beer almost had me head out that way. The Earth collab sounds cool too!

...follow the smoke to the hop-filled land...

Not a popular opinion I gather, but I really quite liked Earth’s Pentastar

Hey guys - does anybody know how often TH releases King Jjjjulius? Thinking of making the trip today but am so overloaded (as usual) with IPAs...but have a perfect window to make the trip...! Thanks!

This is the second time in the last couple months, but before that it was once a year or less. Seems like they're getting less precious about the rare stuff so it's hard to say whether it's likely to come around again this spring or not. If you're looking to justify not going, they have something 'equivalent' almost 100% of the time with Doubleganger and Perfect Storm being near regulars.

Ive bene out of the Treehouse game for a few years at this point, but still follow their social media. One question I have is how people buy cases at a time, regularly drink this beer, and dont have weight problems. I have to watch my weight very closely and notice whenever I start regularly drinking new england IPA I get bloated and gain weight. I dont see how people do it.

I work out 3-4 days a week and have one beer a night with dinner and 2-4 beers a day on the weekend. Over this past year I've pretty much maintained my weight or if anything I've put maybe 5 pounds on. I don't have a Tree House beer every night. Although I'd say about 50% of the beers I drink are NEIPAs. Guinness and pilsners make up about 40% and then stronger stouts or darker beers are probably 10% of what I drink. And I have one glass of bourbon on Friday nights, it's a weird tradition I've formed.

After my birthday in a few weeks I'll be trimming back on my beer consumption to probably about 75% of what it is now. The problem is, all I drink during the day is water and coffee so I really enjoy having something flavorful to sip on with dinner and while I relax at night.

Well..... I did a dry January and lost 10 pounds. I think that at least indirectly answers your question!

If there's anything Nate does well, it's keeping people guessing. Your guess is as good as ours.

That said, these days most beers are released at least a couple times per year.

It's impossible - I eat about 100x more healthy than I did when I was in my 20s and I still put on 15 lbs merely from beer consumption during COVID. And yes, I exercise too. It's unreal.
