Had the pleasure of having it once in the summer of 19. My notes concur with this post. Guess I need to update my game!

    Do you like chocolate syrup?

That sums up basically every Tree House stout these days.

Yes, when demand falls off at the brewery.

Seems you could pump out a shit ton more and safely. I mean Trillium figured it out. Think their demand is down? Ha

I doubt they're ever going to ship. It would require an Amazon-like logistics center. We all seem to have forgotten the "on the fly" model they have begun. That will be their answer.

Maybe they will eventually get into a "beer of the month club" style thing sending things out on a subscription, but I really doubt we will ever see a la carte delivery from Tree House.

Demand for Trillium has almost certainly decreased which opened the door for shipping.

Do you have the data on this? Would be interesting to have JC weigh in on that claim from the recliner.

I forget which podcast it was, but JC talked about the shift to delivery at the beginning of COVID. Also just the fact that there are three major stout releases that have been on the shop for three weeks is very different than the major BA stout releases in 2019. I don't think it's disparaging to a brewery to say that their demand has shifted and they're doing a great job of getting beer into people's hands. Tree house is definitely the exception to almost every brewery rule and it could be true that they will just never need to shift to delivery.

Off subject, is there any reason to the bottle push? Aside from trouble getting cans?

I think the latter is a big part of it.

we are doing it because we have a bottling line and like to have fun with our work. that's pretty much it. the funny thing is we had a hard time getting bottles for this run and nearly missed the deadline.

Same reason they switch up the labels for the same beer. They like different formats and labels and are clearly having fun with it. Keeps things fresh. People read way too much into these things.

Lol, if that’s your interpretation...I have a bridge for sale. Everything they do is to drive the hype train.
