Great point. Sierra Nevada's Kellerweis even has instructions printed on the bottle telling you to swirl the last third of the bottle before pouring into your glass.

And let's not forget about this classic beer-pouring robot: https://imgur.com/exEqOjt?r

We've been sucking down the dregs for ages and only now is it a problem?

    How come Treehouse’s 4 packs aren’t really 4 packs?

Anyone getting a lot of burn from JJJ? Picked up last Friday at Deerfield. What's the sweet spot on this guy? Had the same thing on the Eureka I picked up as well, but it was isoalted to the last quarter of the can. They were both canned last week. Still find it shocking that I purchase beer and then need to wait X days until I don't get offputting flavors. Calm down. Not hating on Treehouse.

If it’s the same batch I got a few weeks ago, it was and is still drinking prime for me.

Drinking Emperor Julius now. Not sure that this needs to exist but i get why they did it. It’s basically a triple IPA Julius. These 4.9 ratings are once again proof that beer reviews are pointless to look at with anything new/hyped. OG julius is much more drinkable and enjoyable than this. KJJJ is an extreme level of beer but it’s much more balanced and overall way better than this. The Jjj mentioned above is also something I would reach for over this now that I’ve had it.They still knock most things out of the park, but sometimes doing things for the hype is overdoing it

    other thoughts:
Had “Nine” on tap today and it was top tier. Also, Jjj with peach and it was next level and hard to not pound the entire cup of it. The overall experience at Charlton was great today.

Helpful insight. It was not the batch from a few weeks ago. I think the run date was 6/22. Too lazy to go downstairs and check. Ill give it a few weeks. That's my favorite beer by far, but I've always had it a few weeks out. I'd much rather purchase a $22 4-pack that is ready to drink, but patience is a virtue I guess.

How busy has Charlton been lately? A friend is driving by in the next couple days and I don't want to send them into a whole crazy line thing for picking up an order.

mid week, cans should be pretty easy. The earlier the better, for sure. I went at 4:30pm last Friday...only 3-4 other people waiting for cans. In and out in 10. Pour line looked to be about 15-25 minutes.

July 4th weekend traffic will up the ante, esp on Fri when a lot of people will have the day off.

Today was very relaxed. No line at all for can pick up and the line at the bar was anywhere from 0-15 people while I was there. Weekdays are great there (except Friday of course)

It's like they stopped brewing Haze and Green for the upped variants. SAD!

It's been like 3 or 4 days since Haze was available. C'mon now.

The way I read it is you were upset they didn't have the beers available for you on your pickup day. Heaven forbid they don't cater to the Vodka guy on Beer Advocate.

They try to 'push the envelope' every year during their anniversary week/month. Seeing them brewing the "upped variants" should come as no surprise to anyone who has payed attention to Tree House over the past few years.
