Sorry if a noob question, but on their site it states a minimum of one case. Does that mean I have to get one of the premade variety packs or can I build a case of 24 cans out of multiple 4-packs?

How do I know which batch (or which hops) of Juice Project I got a few days ago (date on can 1/18/21)? Between that and JJJJJulius (which seems to be a different techinique than the JJJJulius I picked up last summer), I am enjoying these IPAs as much as any of have had from Treehouse or any brewery!!! Apologies if a dumb question, I have been out of touch of late

Lmao, saying "cheers" after a heated debate is basically the same as a huge "fuck you".

Does anyone know the deal with quantities listed on the website? I frequently see ‘only x available’ of a given option one day and then the next day that same option is listed without any indication it is running low. Do they set limits on some options for each day?

Has to be. That is one way to try and spread out inventory. Keeps some of the more highly sought after beers around longer which can, in turn, help move some of the less desirable brews.

Big Blue! Excited for this one. Mosaic is my second favorite hop after Nelson. I am surprised that Persist is still available given some of the glowing reviews I have seen- picked up 4 of those as well today. Pretty cool that they give out free birthday glass as well.

In my experience, if a product is getting low and they have more in stock, they update it, that day. Sometimes I’ll see products sell out, and then come back a few days later, but that is extremely rare.

Regarding wait times, Monday and Tuesday’s, during the day usually aren’t long. 5-15min. If you have to go Thursday-Sunday, it’s probably best to go just before close, if you can.

also, regarding canning dates. Of course it would be nice to see them online. That said, I pick up a case every few weeks (along with Alchemist, hill Farmstead (still stocked with plenty of Susan), trillium, etc) and don’t see any issues with freshness. I find that 90% of what I buy was canned within a week. Often it’s canned within a few days. It’s pretty rare when I get a can that’s 3 weeks old, but it does happen. I’ve never had issues with freshness, though. The Alchemist used to have “CANNED THIS WEEK” on their website but recently removed it. I was curious why, grabbed a few cases after they removed it, both heady and focal were canned 2 days before I picked them up.

Just curious, what region do you live in? Are you actually driving all the way out to Hill Farmstead every few weeks? That's a spread out group of breweries to hit consistently

I live in Western Mass. I enjoy the drive on I-91, while it is a 7 hour round trip to hit hill farmstead and alchemist, I don’t mind doing it once every 4-6 weeks. Trillium (canton) is about an hour and a half away, Treehouse is about 35 minutes. I’ve been meaning to check out new park and fox farms, but my fridge is packed at the moment.

Update: I enjoyed Big Blue, but was hoping it would be thiccer . Felt the same about Persist- solid beer, but a bit thin and not enough barrel or coffee to it.

What makes a DIPA thick for you? Are you talking about mouthfeel, body, both?

Never found myself wanting or describing an D/IPA as thick. Heavy on the palate, sure.

I thought a similar thing about Super Treat. I had Perfect Storm right after, and thought it was thicker, and really solid all around. I was just at TH Monday to grab very green, today they just put out 4 packs of doubleganger which is a favorite. Going to try not to return this week, but 4 packs of very green and double, make it hard, haha.

    Did you pick up Brownie?

I think I'm going to send my kids to day camp this February vacation and make the pilgramage for the first time since before the apocalypse.

Does anyone have Nate's info so I can email him my specific needs for my arrival and purchase? I require IPAs canned right in front of me. Does anyone know if I still need a mask to witness this, or will I be given a solitary clean room with a window to watch?
