Gotta say that I've thus far been disappointed with both Aaalter Ego and Jjjuliusss. Best in the bunch has been the Jjjuice Project Citra + Citra and Nomad.

Anyone had the 11/10 batch of Julius? The 2 I’ve had were very dark and didn’t really taste oxidized, but tasted off

Must be reallocating julius hops to project find the limit. LOL!

Speaking of project find the limit, I noticed the tweet this AM regarding the cost per can. #5 would be 26 smacks a 4 pack. Good call on offering a 2 pack.

The first can I had was surely not the best Julius I've had but the can I'm sipping on right now is wonderful.

First trip in a while where I'm not thrilled with everything - most recent KJ is bitter as hell and Aaalter is pretty boring. That said, I loved jjjuice project citra + citra and Stick Season is phenomenal. It's basically double galaxy but sub the HF hard candy DIPA thing with a touch of TH yeast flavor. Upper tier NEIPA of recent times, imo.

Regarding the tap menu, you can always look at untappd, as it works fine when you’re at Charlton

Any one have any guesses as to when Deerfield will open for pours? It looks like it will be an amazing place.

VG has been insanely good (since the off batch)

Nascent Truth is outstanding, had to go back for a second.

Find the Limit 6 is out, as mentioned, it’s nice to see 2 packs. I couldn’t bring myself to spend 27.20 on a 4 pack when they have so much good beer between 15-21$

Asked when I was picking up last week and they said still no timeline.

Agreed on the 2-packs. I mean, I’ll probably get 4. But I’ll feel better knowing I could have just gotten 2.

Bummer to not have drafts going for ski season. Like many others I'll be driving right past it all the time traveling back and forth to VT. With how inconsistent the IPA's are these days I no longer buy before trying.

Thanks! I’m hoping they open by feb-mar.

I can’t blame you, I thought 5 was pretty great.

Update: yeah, imo, grab a 4 pack. It’s an extremely good DIPA.

Went there this evening. Really chill. No lines anywhere.

Tried Stick Season on draft and did I miss out on cans because damn that shit is good.

Also drinking a Dear Washington right now. The first time I had this it was just a generic NEIPA. Seems they tweaked the recipe because it actually tastes (and looks) like a wet hop IPA. Glad I picked up a 4-pack.

Excited for this Double Shot because it's back at 8.2%. Tired of the 9.8% chocolate syrup bombs.

Yep, I'm going to be that guy.

Very Sappy tastes like it was straight out of Monson. Holy shit that classic TH yeast. Wish it was more consistent.

I've found that a lot of their DIPAs have that amazing character when extremely fresh. After even 2 or 3 weeks they drift into a more generic flavor but are saved by the mouth feel. Just like my opinion, man

Just put my order in for King Smooth, King Sorbet and Honey. Gonna stay for a couple pours too. We were bummed to miss the last Smooth distro but we back.

They do still brew at Monson…typically Alter Ego.

But Alter is one that never has that...you know what, I accepted the change and unlike Trillium I still enjoy their beers, regardless. For the most part.

Agreed. I generally stick to the core and core + beers (including juice machine, juice project, and a few other's), and never seem to have issues with quality control or consistency (outside of maybe a batch)

I live near Charlton and pretty much stopped going to Trillium, it doesn’t make any sense to.
