I 100% agree. I think he also might have been aiming for the “currently widely available now” which all are at this time. So I’ll give a little bit of slack. Probably one of their less great videos yet. And it’s still enjoyable

Friday the 13th is hereby no longer considered to be a bad-luck-day.

had it back to back with King Jjjulius and I think I actually preferred the former. It was just mildly easier to drink with all the amazing flavor

Yeah I'd definitely agree with that. I think for the most part I always prefer the regular version of these beers. I went off NE IPA's for a long time, just got sick of them but treehouse opening 4 miles from my house kinda dragged me back. I think for the most part I prefer what i've had in the 5-7% range.

However, Juice Machine tastes pretty great too. WAY better than the anniversary edition. I never had this one from the Monson days so I have no idea what it used to taste like, but this one is great.

After my startup had our first country-wide in person get together for this week, including training, culture shit, dinners, speeches, presentations, I'm not ashamed to admit it's 4:30 and I'm on my second Treehouse beer this friday.

I am at Tewksbury at noon on Saturday to get some pizza with my son.
The Very Ssssapy on draft was incredible.

I am more wowed by the fact that a large group took over 2 or 3 of the huge picnic tables, put a bunch of decorations all over them, and appear to be hosting a family holiday party here.
It is insanely packed for a Saturday afternoon.

    Wow!
I used to spend a lot of time in Saratoga.
    I left too early!

I am truly happy for the folks out there who have probably been waiting patiently and didn’t think they’d get any for Christmas. It’s that fucking good isn’t it? Regardless of hype or whatever else. Enjoy NY

I assumed Saturday afternoon would be just about the busiest day and time of the week (?)

I had no idea they were anywhere near opening, even if just for to-go sales. And on DAY ONE they had to re-stock supplies!? Insane. I figured they’d do well right out of the gate, but Jesus! So how soon before a horse-racing-themed beer emerges?

I applaud their success, commitment to quality and service, but I don’t I understand their desire for such growth. I really don’t. But I get the impression that ownership are workaholics, so maybe that has something to do with it. Remember their early website? There was a line or something that said, “Never Satisfied,” in reference to themselves. I understood that to mean they were always striving to improve their beer, but perhaps it has also come to mean grow the business.

Yes, Saturday afternoons are a zoo year round in Tewksbury. Now throw in people hosting holiday parties on top of that and it’s pretty much unbearable to be honest.

Very SSSapppy might just be the best new beer I've had this year.

I will never understand how TH can bring out the candied sweetness of hops like Simcoe and Chinook whilst retaining that sharp bitterness you would normally expect. This is why I think the Sap "family" will always be among the best beers they brew.

Nice. Going this Friday for the first time in many months and was hoping for some on-point Sap and sappy variants.
