This is beyond easy to pick the favorite, and you can probably guess which is which by label details of BVB 2.0

There's something about the concoction that just absolutely does not work. If I were to guess it would be the vanilla, as I've had a few that just had vanilla and lactose and they all tasted like ice cream vomit. Any fruit added definitely doesn't help.

It's good. Exactly what one would expect from a west coast DIPA. Not the best I've ever had by any means but it definitely scratches that sticky, piney, grapefruit itch, if that's what you're looking for.

Considering how disappointing "Cut Your Own" was, I'm actually glad to see they can nail the style. Would be nice if it wasn't just a one-off.

The Haze craze seems to be leveling off and West Coast style is making a little comeback. Wouldn't be surprised if they make a more standard offering of something like this very soon

Thanks! It sure looks the part, from your photo. Really hoping it sticks around into next week.

Yep, clear as can be. Definitely not a "hybrid".

I hope so. I love NEIPA's (duh) but I'm always craving that bitter hop bite so if TH has a regular in their lineup I'd be stoked.

I'd love to see them do a pale ale in this manner.

Queen of the Tetons seems like an odd one. Cream ale with huckleberries?

    Enjoyed 03/02

Essentially exactly what you’d expect. Huge beer, but it is quite sweet. Some nice barrel comes through but, it’s…sweet. Not to like 2011 Dark Lord diabittiz, it’s more refined. It doesn’t pour out used motor oil, more so a new bottle with a little light to pass through. It’s a little more of a slick and full mouthfeel as opposed to just overly thick. The Coconut is absolutely perfect and by no means cloying or overdone. It sits on your tongue and comes in waves. I personally love coconut.

I was in the mood for this and don’t often drink big barrel stouts, especially outside of the holidays. So I truly did love this. It does remind me a little of morning delight(no barrel I know) in mouthfeel and construction. However I’d put that beer above. I also feel it separates itself from all of the other TH stouts. It’s amazing that it has that full mouthfeel. But again, I would emphasize I don’t really call it overly thick. Brain is still computing that one.

Worth the money? Depends on the person. Could you skip on 2 luxury food, drink or other items and just put it towards this? I’d say so. Since you could pick the variety you truly wanted. Did I feel like a dickhead with my bottle on the coffee table at Tewksbury while her and I had a drink? A little ha.

in fairness, Em did not enjoy it as much and the sweet got to her. The interesting thing is she said it immediately made her appreciate and want another bottle of Cantillon like the one we shared in NYC a few weeks back. So I would understand if someone is put off by the sweet. Hope this helps someone. I always appreciate when you all review something and it helps me make a choice.

Saratoga tap room location having a soft-opening/invite only event this weekend. Shouldn't be long now until it is open to the public!

Where are you seeing info on this? I see they still have all of the Saratoga job listings on the web site, including general manager and hospitality manager, so I assumed we were still in for a wait.
