Yeah, I was picking up beer in Tewksbury at 2:45 this past Friday and the main parking lot was already a shit show. For the record, the beer was Eureka Citra and it was delicious.

I believe if you go to the pru, they will sell you a 4 pack if you ask, but I’m not 100% on that.

If you happen to be in the area of TH and enjoy lagers...Definitely get a pour of Haunted By Waters. Just do it.

If it's still on whenever I get up there I will. A beer like that needs to come from draft. The pics of it out of the can look way different than the side-pull.

Curious, to hear if Curiosity 153 with its darker color haze is going to follow the pattern of absolute gems we’ve had in the series of late with that truly old TH look and flavor.

    Anyone try it yet?

The cans are completely clear as opposed to the cloudiness of the draft. Head is obviously not as good from the cans.

Swung by Tewksbury this morning and can confirm the overflow lot is close. Big signage is in place. Cross walk signs are in place. They were repairing sidewalks and curbs on Main Street., and it looked like just the final paving of the lot needed to take place. The woman at pickup confirmed that they'd lost a few days because of weather but that it was "close."

That would be odd as the check ins I’ve seen are typically opaque haze. That would shock me. I guess I’ll find one when I get home. This JM pineapple has got some burn today. Haven’t experienced that here in a long time.

Regardless today’s mission was a reload of cold brew. They’ve been essentially out for a week. Good to go.

Was at a party and they had some TH beers in coolers (nice). Right on top was ‘Wafflenanner’ and I thought “well, I’m never going to actually buy this, so I might as well try it for free”. It was…. Interesting. Not bad but I wouldn’t call it good. It really took a bad turn when I started drinking it with my food. Only got through half the can at that point and then went for a can of Eureka. Stout adjuncts in IPAs are probably not something I’ll try again

    Planning to get there soon.
    It’s a 2 hr drive.

years ago, I used to spend every week there. Disappointed Tree House showed up so much later.

Henry Street Pub used to have a really good beer selection and cheap beer and cheese flights on Tuesdays

    Cloud Machine -

Not that it really matters, and I know it’s all in good fun.

But at what point is a beer just using a familiar name to sell it. Cloud Machine, to me, sounds like a completely new beer. Nelson, Paradisi, Peacharine and Raku.

This is kind of the opposite of JM. And if someone had tried juice machine before and didn’t pay attention. They may absolutely hate this beer. NZ hops are so finicky to people.

I myself shal try it and I’m sure love it. But I’d look at it as outside of the JM family.

Otherwise, if this truly is a rendition of juice machine. Then the hop bill would be Magnum, Columbus, Amarillo, Citra, Galaxy, Nelson, Paradisi, Peacharine, Raku. Which, seems a bit much…Not even Modest Man and Other Half have jammed they many East to West hops in a beer before.

One example of that working would be Hopcelot by Lawson’s, maybe? Pretty sure there are 7-8 in there and I always thought it had a touch of NZ to it. But don’t disagree w your general point too much.

I recently had Cheddar Broccoli from Other Half and it has Cascade, Mosaic, Simcoe, Hallertau Blanc, Wai-iti, Kohatu, Citra and Ekuanot. It has me thinking that they just had some leftover hops on hand from other brews and just dumped them in and said: "ehh, let's see what happens."
