Long ass week (year???) at work. Wife took me to Woodstock and loved it, she doesn’t imbibe but enjoyed some Adirondack chair sunbathing. King JJJ and strawberry marshmallow stout hit the spot. Did some apple picking up the road beforehand to get some brewery visit karma.

I haven't tried Patient Whisper or Rustle but Whisper is excellent.
You should grab Four Star Fresh Hop Cascade too

I'm legitimately buying more lagers when I go to Tree House.

Imagine telling yourself this 10 years ago in line waiting for 5 cans of Alter Ego.

I like it. I feel like it's probably incredible from the side pull.

FYI - No more slices in Sandwich. We got caught flat-footed last night and had to wait 75 minutes for a pizza.

Had an hour wait tonight. Was underwhelmed with pizza. Very light sauce and mozzarella was barely present save for a 4” circle in the middle of the pie. Had to buy hot honey after the fact to help get it down the throat.

There's not a pizza in the world I'd wait 75 minutes for.

visited deerfield this weekend and was a little disappointed with the cascade.. it really lacked the brightness and herbal qualities which the teamaker managed to pull off.

and yes the patient whisper was really great from sidepull

Didn't know the wait time in advance unfortunately (was not displayed on the kiosk) and had two hungry kids under 7 to feed.

I'm planning a Saratoga run on Friday. I can't believe this is my first question, but can anyone call out their favorite cold brews from the selection?

I'm looking forward to the beer too, of course. For the sake of the blood glucose, I stick with lagers usually--the hazy stuff will jack me up in an instant. What an insane stage of life where I'm hitting up TH for the cold brew and lagers. Thankfully I have some friends requesting some hazy beer, so I can steal sips and enjoy the look in their eyes.

Oh, that's ridiculous to not have an expected wait time...that's just holding people prisoner there!

Not looking to blow your blood sugar out of the water, but if you are on a coffee run, grab 4 Catharsis-Coffee, or a draft if available. Aroma jumps out of the can/glass, unsubtly coffee forward. The chocolate malts are all there, too. Cocoa, fudge, coffee, tremendous beer.

Worth noting that this beer is described as both a robust porter AND as a stout in its own can-label description. Because labels are bullshit, but awesome beer is awesome beer.

I looked up the Granger vs. Tree House lawsuit today, appears all parties settled out of court and the case was dismissed.

Anyone complaining about making $850k on a $10k investment is a delusional imbecile lacking self-awareness.

Absolutely, this one is on my radar. Stouts and porters aren't too bad if the abv isn't insane.
