Im usually pro families at breweries if they can hang out and act normal.

I can't imagine the lack of self awareness you need to have to throw a child's birthday party at Woodstock on a Saturday @ noon. That place has maybe 6 tables total but by all means little Jerry needs a memorable 5th bday party.

Wait, this actually happened? There’s no way they notified them, right? I can’t imagine a brewery being ok with a kids birthday…

Tables full of catered food and a bunch of other shit.

Finished my beer and got the hell outta there. Plenty people working the bar didn't seem to care.

Not to be dramatic but this is basically a war crime.

I’m sure it was 6-year-old little Johnnie’s idea to have his party at a brewery

What happens at deerfield if you don’t know when someone will arrive to pick up your order? Is it a problem if you don’t click the “i’m here” button in the email you get?

I am having my grandmother's 103rd birthday party at Tree House in Sandwich next week. She is blind, wheelchair bound, & has a colostomy bag, but I love beer.

Speaking of beer, does anyone have any slam dunk favorites from the lager side of things?

Would be the perfect mule if they still had strict limits. Just put the cases on her lap and roll her out to the car.

make sure you let her drink her beer with a straw for maximum bag inflation!

If my mom had my 6th birthday at a brewery I would’ve purposely tried to get hurt. That’s some low shit.

I remember one where they made some kind of double dare obstacle course for all of us 80s kids in the backyard on a swampy summer day. I don’t have a fucking clue why they gave me as gifts. But I still remember getting covered in all kinds of nasty slime and loving it and just being with my friends.

Makes me feel for the little guy who gets beer farts and Saturday pour lines.

However, if your little one is invited to a party there. Who are we to not let them all be together. Just on some principle. So it’s a very strange thought sometimes. I don’t care if they do it or my child went to one. It’s just not where I would personally plan one. And there is 100% a difference between a party at a papa Gino’s or Pizza Hut over a brewery, who makes pizza

So last year ‘Frost’ was my favorite cold brew they put out. Didn’t see it this year, but ‘Mochachrome’ might be the best one yet

Frost is probably the winter release and I bet we see it early 2026. Wish list seemed to be the in between from autumn to winter.

Mochachrome was awesome had to stock up before it sells out.

My brother had his 9th birthday party at Papa Gino's. He ate his pizza, got sick, and had to cancel the rest of the party. He can't even blame it on the hazies. Lightweight.

Trail Peacharine is the most ridiculously crushable beer I've ever had. I don't care for that hop in IPA's but it’s perfect for that lager. Trail anything is good.

Pizzeria Pils is IMHO their best all-around lager. It's crystal clear, spicy, clean and crisp. That's if you like German pilsners. Meander is another great German pils.

You absolutely can't go wrong with any of their lagers on draft. Just pick one and it will be an amazing experience. It's crazy how well they do this shit to so little fanfare. I'm not saying they're on the level of a place like Notch but when it comes to the amount of beer they actually have available? And it's all at least very solid? I dunno man. Maybe I'm just huffing Nate's farts but I think they're at least in the conversation.

For what's currently available, Nomad if you are into Czech Dark Lagers. I also enjoyed King of the Mountain for a Bock. I plan on getting these two on my next visit. I thought Magic Trail was amazing, planning to get that one next time they offer it.
