My buddy has been doing HHH for like 20 years, he also took me to Monson for the first time. I still don't really understand their uh, running/drinking/nsfw hash names but it sounds interesting...

It sells well at the package stores near me that get it.

I hope KJJJ hasn’t been killed by recipe tweaks and over hopping and this is just a bad batch. It tastes nothing how it used to. Much darker in color and the head disappears quickly

This isn’t 2015 anymore. This thread is about 15% actually talking about their beer these days

They are an unusual crew. My hash name is Cabana Boy.

I really enjoyed the last ones I got, but that was last fall. Next time they release it I may need to try a draft at the bar before I decide to pick it up.

Appreciate the commentary on different batches and new beers here. Helps me navigate their large draft list when I go, which is not often.

Hit up Tewksbury yesterday, breaking my rule of not going there on weekends. I still can’t get over how chaotic it is. Hacky sacks flying around and a stanchion knocked over. Kids running everywhere. Not a seat or table in the house.

That being said, the staff is great. Beer lines are quick and not long. And the parents were with kids most of the time. I think at some point it just becomes too hard to manage with that volume of people.

Had a Very Green, Westy, and Seaside Pils. All were good. The wife had a pickle martini which was excellent. Took home Hello Faneuil and Pizzeria Pils.

So Treehouse slipping into a post

“There are no plans beyond the beer garden, as widely reported”

There were in depth articles and news stories written about this. There is no way they made the information up with the level of detail.

So treehouse is now saying the cheers building is not a go? Something feels off here. The articles included size, brewing capacity potential, which parts of the building they’d be using etc. hmm

Should these anniversary editions of beers really get separate entries? Isn't it the same beer with different labels?

They will change up the hop bill a bit typically. So they aren’t selling you the same beer, with a diffent label. Normally it’s amplifying their favorite part of the beer

    Confusing.

I remember when the Pru was announced there was a similar chain of events, and I thought (but can't find evidence) that Nate had said that those were never the actual plans but the approvals / licensing process is murky and reporters jumped to conclusions based upon the licensing documents. I don't think I'm making this up?

Edit: This was the Prudential comment. (Not sure if this is the same situation, or where the quote that jbrews mentioned was from):

I’ll probably stop by today, but does anyone know if they took over the beer garden that was previously run by 67 degrees brewing in fanieul hall? Or are they both there now? I went to the 67 degrees spot a few times last summer.

To answer my own question, it took the place of the 67 degrees beer garden. Stopped by both Boston Tree House beer gardens today. I now have a Tree House beer garden a 5 min walk from my office and my apartment! I’ll take it.
