I've had plenty of 9% DIPA's that were good or even great, but it starts getting muddy after that. After a certain point they just get too sweet and end up tasting like a fruity cocktail.

I had Infinite Julius and enjoyed it. Didn't find it too overwhelming, but also didn't find it was much better than their lower ABV IPAs.

I feel like Trillium does well in this department. But I also have far more experience trying their stronger IPAs.

Going hard with fruited IPAs today.
    Three new ones:
    - Brilliant - Guava DIPA
    - Snow Cone - Very HHHazyyy with mango/peach
    - Super Radiant - Peach DIPA (Not new but hasn't been brewed in a few years AFAIK)

Need to get me some Fellowship London Porter. Can’t say I’ve ever had it. Or I just don’t remember.

I think its brand new. Can't say I expected a Tree House LOTR(ish) themed beer.

It seems like Texture has replaced Trail as the lager they throw a bunch of hop varieties into. I've enjoyed several of the versions of Trail I've had, will be interested to try Texture.

I didn’t love Texture as much as Trail. But it was just one glass of Texture. Could anyone give their thoughts on the difference between the two?

As of now, its slices Mon-Thurs, and food trucks on the weekend, with the schedule on the homepage.

Texture is a hoppy pils with American hops, whereas Trail is a German pils that will sometimes utilize American hops but it’s generally hopped like a Kellerbier.

I prefer Trail as well. Texture is basically an IPL, which is fine, but not what I'm always looking for when I want a drinkable lager.

Kinda related, Schilling Brewing in NH did a collab recently on a 4.0% hoppy "west coast" pils and it's fucking mind blowing. Took me back to my days trying Founders Harvest for the first time.

They have food trucks at Charlton all seven days they are open. On weekdays usually only one, occasionally two, on weekends two or three. They post who will be there on any given day on their website.

Saratoga is nowhere as big as Carlton.

in the winter, do you go outside to buy your food and then back inside to eat?

I think the food trucks allow Tree House Charlton to still allow dogs, they would have to exclude them if they had a full-up kitchen (something about sanitary code or some such...). I guess it makes sense for them to have the pizza kitchens at the satellite taprooms. At those locations, dogs are only allowed at outdoor areas or are not allowed (with exception of ADA assistance animals).

Yeah, if the weather is bad, everyone orders from the trucks and retreats to the interior.

I’m sure it is amazing. I just wish I loved cinnamon a bit more. As I’ve gotten older for whatever reason it just doesn’t click as much as when I was a kid. Maybe one too many cinnamon pop tarts when they came out ha.

The comments about dogs are interesting. I generally support people having the right to take their dogs.
But ordering in the snow then retreating inside seems weird.

I was at Sante Fe brewing this summer during a huge rainstorm. To get food, you had to get soaked. But it still worked.

this changed the first week of January. M-Th...Tree House Slice Shop only. F-Sun...2 or 3 food trucks. I'm not sure if this is permanent or just during Winter. I guess we'll see. I'd heard the theory that serving pizza would put an end to dogs being allowed inside but here we are. There's a table set up at the right end of the can delivery area. You place your order and someone disappears behind the wall. Minutes later they walk out with your slices and off you go.
