Tree House Brewing (2022)

I've had the most recent VGGG, KJJJ, Jjjuice Machine, and VHHH (god that felt silly to type). The King was incredible, the VGGG very good, Jjjuice OK, and the Haze not great. Overhopped and a little chalky. Not so bad I didn't enjoy it, but not close to the others. I'm all for the super hoppy DIPA thing, but there's for sure a line for me. I think the ideal is somewhere around the extra hopped single IPAs, but it might just be a matter of what tastes best batch to batch for me.

 

Agree, there's definitely a line for me as well. I won't buy any of the Find The Limit series because it's just not what I'm looking for, and the extremely hopped beers just don't have the shelf life of the others in my experience.

How they've avoiding brewing a TIPA is astounding to me

 

I don’t know how I would feel about it. I don’t mind trying an overly hopped ipa, I’ll even enjoy one when it’s done well, but I never go after a 10% tipa.

 

I’m afraid to ask but what is the calorie count of these 8% + DIPAs? 350 + per can? The MyFitnessPal app has an entry for Haze at around 328.

 

Only 600 bottles. Will be interesting to watch

 

Price point, season, and non-first release should be enough for it to last a few weeks imo

I'm glad they've stayed away. The two Lawson's ones are the only legitimately great ones I've had unless Ephraim counts.

I've yet to find one that I've finished. I stopped trying and avoid them. I would pass on Pliny the Younger.

 

Yeah, not to mention, they’re always in 4 packs.

 

I’m enjoying Very Hhhazyyy, think it’s drinking fine.

 

Heading to Charlton Sunday at open. Has there been line house at open on Sunday’s or should we expect a little brief window of ok at open.
