I went twice on a Friday afternoon and bought tickets at the counter. No reservations ahead of time.

Yeah, I believe Deerfield has dropped reservations for pours (at least during the week), and to go orders can be placed whenever you’d like.

On another note, keep your eyes peeled for another wax top. Hoping it’s not a 750.

I hope the farmhouse bottle, altbier, and festbier are still around (and that I do get an opportunity to pop in).

Anyone have any recent purchases that had cans that were fully flat? I picked up a case yesterday and just grabbed a King Julius and it felt soft. I cracked it open and no carbonation whatsoever. Feels like several more have the same issue. Didn’t realize until now as I just put the whole case into my car and then fridge yesterday.

I haven’t, but I do know that the most recent keg of Big Nugget had carb issues, I don’t know if they pulled it or let it tap out.

I’ve been a few times now, always midweek afternoon. It’s just step up to the counter, get your wrist band, and then commence the long, lonely walk down what looks like an empty airport terminal/convention center concourse.

As of this morning, the 16oz side-pull of Quaint is still on. It is very most excellent.

Sounds pretty good. $22 is tough for 12oz but I get it

Agreed on the price tag. Hey, at least we don’t have to pay 50$ for a 750

Will be hitting up Deerfield on my way home from Vermont to NYC in about 2 weeks. There are way too many cans to select from. Is there any way to know the freshness of the batches?

I plan to get the staples, julius, green, haze, and a few extras. Could one expect these core beers to rotate fast enough for their cans to always be fresh?

But let’s say they have very Hazy and very HHHazy, if the can date is significantly far apart I would just get the fresher one.

Has anyone had batch 1 or 2 of their bourbon yet? Thoughts?

I don't think freshness is any concern with TH. The last time I got beer from there it was all dated a day or two before the date it was purchased.

Before I visit, I usually poke through the TH line updates FB page. Then I'll know which hops have been released in the past week or two.

For those not on FB the releases are also posted on the IG Treehouse_lineupdates page but this google doc release is updated pretty frequently and is the easiest way to check release dates.

I assume you say this because opening a 750 of a big syrupy stout is a much bigger commitment than a 12oz?

Super pumped to see sap. Will be about 2 weeks before I get there. Hope it lasts. Keeping my fingers crossed for alter ego.

If I’m one who prefers a nice haze but not a full on murk bomb with hop burn would your recommend going with the standard versus the Ggg or the Jjj’s
