I would put up some money for a challenge like that. Drinking as much TH as some of us have, I feel very confident I could tell the difference. After a few weeks, the flavors just fall flat. They're still better than pretty much anything else out there, but the first couple weeks is perfection. There's some exceptions where a few weeks actually helps the flavors, but it's been rare for me.

I agree, I don’t notice a significant fall off past 4-5 weeks as long as it’s stored cold.

Tree House beers never seem to develop solid particulates over time, unlike a lot of hazies.

Drinking Very Yellow now. It’s solid, but has this harsh quality that almost all the new DIPAs seem to have. It’s supposed to be Very Green w/pineapple, but it’s .4% higher in abv and doesn’t have that soft drinkability for its weight class. Guess I am a hater afterall! Apologies

Ha, drinking VY as well. I’ve have a few high life’s, and a few 60 minutes, my palate has been warmed up. I rarely pick up ipas with added ingredients, but when I do, I always drink it after a few beers.

    anyways, I’m thoroughly enjoying it.

I haven’t had tree house in a while but this GGgreennn! is absolutely blowing my
my mind. Even next to very green and very gggreennn with pineapple, it stands out to me. Also it looks like the full cases of julius are sold out (but still some 4 packs available) so that means like 10-11 days for the 9/6 batch of julius to almost completely sell out which seems reasonable

I haven’t had Gggreen in a while, always loved that beer.

I think I mentioned this, but they’re at brewing capacity right now (due to demand). Pair that, with the fact that they don’t distribute, and you’ll get a brewery that’s selling about the freshest beer you can get.

TH and freshness complaints are somewhat out of touch.

I am curious for those of you who have bought both Very Hazy and Haze over the past few months. My mind was conditioned to believe that anything with "very" or a stutter (HHH) in the name was inherently better, but Haze has won out my preference for the past several times to the point I don't plan on buying Very Hazy if they also have Haze available. I am drinking a can of Haze from 9/1 with is great right now. Stored in basement for two weeks, then fridge for 2 days. One of the best NEIPAs I have had recently.

Visiting Charlton for a first time this coming Thursday. Outside of purchasing draft pours ahead of time before arriving, any other tips y'all would recommend? Planning on stopping at Armsby Abbey on the way for lunch. Any other stop recommendations are appreciated!

Green and Haze are still my go to (d)ipa’s. Maybe 25% of the time I’ll spring for a denser version of them. VG is still my favorite beer, but for the price point, Green is tremendous.

I usually skip VH now. I've had it numerous times without being very impressed. Haze is definitely my preference of the two

Coincidentally, I had that exact experience but with VH and VHHH. But that’s not that uncommon for me, I think VGGG is the only one where I’m certain the more hopped one is my preference, and even then, I think that beer is better than Greenest Green.

Flying in to Mass on Saturday evening and will have a a very small window to visit TH. I'm going to be staying in West Springfield and was wondering which location would be the best to try and swing through; Deerfield or Charlton. I have two options on time of visit, Sunday morning or Monday morning. Most likely not going to have enough time to hang around for more than a pour and grabbing some to-go cans. Looking for the easiest time frame and day to swing in, drink a beer and grab cans then run out the door.

VGGG and Greenest Green were part of my last purchase there, and VGGG was definitely the winner of the whole batch.

Never been to Deerfield, but Charlton should be dead at open on a Monday. That would be my choice. Driving distance mostly negligible give or take ten minutes longer going east to Charlton (45 mins) versus north to Deerfield (35 mins). You also get the earlier hours for draft on Monday at Charlton 11am, whereas I don’t see draft hours on the website for Deerfield. Plus, larger draft list at Charlton.

S Deerfield is about 10 minutes closer if you’re coming from W Springfield. If your main concerns are time, and beer to go, that’s probably the better choice. That said, Charlton is the mothership, and will have a much larger draft menu, and is all around a cool place to visit (not that Deerfield isn’t)

I've only had each of them once, from a mix pack last month, but I am 100% with you.
