Easy peasy. Online opens at 9am. Can place your order then. They’ll start posting fresh releases for the day around 9:30 am on Twitter (Charlton will be updated slightly before each tweet). However, most/if not all won’t be in Tewksbury until the next day-all originates from Charlton. Set your pickup time, I’ll set early, arrive later unless time is of the essence. You should have no issues. Enjoy your trip.

Can you tell me more about the can deliver elevator? When I was there the other week they said can sales would still be at the outpost with the possibility of getting cans inside as well, is that something that will definitely be available? I would likely still just let them deliver to my car but nice to have the option. Thanks for any info!

I’ve heard it’s not ideal for larger orders so to stick with picking up at the outpost.

Basically right off the main bar is the gift shop/pro shop/retail area, and the interior wall has a waist high table of ball bearings in front of about an 8 foot wide opening down to the floor below. When it’s operational (hopefully this week they said), they’ll load up cases in the basement on basically a case sized elevator platform, and then it will get lifted the 10 feet or so up and slide right onto that table. I usually order like 2/3 of a case so I imagine I’ll be taking advantage of it, though I like the drive up system too.

It will be a breeze to do drive up cans Friday, but I’m not sure what time they actually start giving out orders - might be 11 for that and the bar.

It doesn’t really bother me, but there is a metric fuck ton of kids at breweries. I absolutely understand why it annoys people, I’m slowing starting to change my tune.

Haha, I hear you. It doesn't "really" bother me either, except it is kind of starting to...But it is those parents who don't parent that are the real issue for me. You may think your kid is the cutest thing in the world but I don't need it running up to me at the brewery and hanging around while you just smile your "kids, right?" smile.... Just not the venue.

my .02 on children. I mostly visit late weekday afternoons so I don't have to deal with feral children. I do get more of the "starter child 1.0" (i.e. dogs) than I care for. Barking dogs, and esp dogs not on a short leash, are every bit as annoying as feral children. Keep your drooly dog off me unless I'm allowed to spit on you

Hadn’t had Incredible Machine til this release, not a fan. Pretty sure they have found the limit for me, and it’s short of the triple version on all of them (Incred/Emperor/Greenest Green etc). Most of them I still think the standard DIPA is the best version.

Went to Sandwich last Thursday and it was a great experience, as always. We were heading to the family house in Dennis. Stopped somewhere in RI for a lunch break and put in an order for 2 PM. We pulled up to curbside at 1:58 and got our order within minutes of checking in. I've never had bad luck with curbside there (even in August at heigh of tourist season). The order on your stop (or from the passenger seat) once you know your timing has worked no problem.

This time my wife couldn't get it out of her head that we should also stop in and have a drink. So, we found a spot in the lot and ordered two sets of drink tickets online for the 11-4 window. We had our kids with us. The older two just hung out on the beach and the 5 year old hung out with us upstairs while we had drinks.

The only negative (and this has been the case every time I've been) is that the small draft list heavily leans towards high ABV beers. On Thursday, there were two lagers and Tiny Treat and then everything else was Green (7.5% ABV, as you all know!) or higher. It's not ideal when you have to drive away safely (and my wife won't drink much above the Julius range of ABV so it heavily limits her choices). She stuck to Tiny Treat (and fell in love w/ it) and I enjoyed Seaside Lager, but I didn't finish my Perfect Storm Peach (deliciouse, just being safe). Honestly, the experience and the view far outweigh this complaint but it's definitely a negative.

For those visiting, we were there the day before school got out for the summer and also last week / this week are the last "low(er)" season weeks before the summer kicks in. So, if you go between now and Labor Day, it is likely to be more hectic (you certainly will have to get really lucky to get a spot in the beach lot). But, honestly I've never been when I was stressed about the time or the crowds/lines.

Anyone had both Time Trial and Your Cherished Future Memories Are Happening Right Now? One is Riwaka and Citra and the other is Citra and Riwaka. Both are 8%. Flavor description is fairly similar too...

Also, what's the draft list at Tewksbury looking like right now?

I find the Sandwich draft list to be antithetical to the beach aesthetic and location. Too many > 8%ers (DIPAs and pastry stouts) and not enough Pales or single IPAs consistently on tap. Luckily, lagers have been regularly present to counter the heavier offerings that dominate the list.

Was excited to grab fresh Sap today but this batch is muddled so far.

Totally agree with that as I alluded to above. I will say, I was able to take away plenty of good beach options lower on the ABV scale so that was a nice counter to the draft offerings.

Has anyone tried any of the the Peacharine hopped beers? Jubilee or Very Jubilee, perhaps among others?

Not those but I thought the recent Eureka with Peacharine was the best Eureka version I've had.

I have had both. I think they are solid but of the newer beers, I like the Pink series much better.

I've liked what I've had of the Peacharine beers, but Motueka, Riwaka, and Nelson still rule the NZ hop world (and tbh pretty much the hop world in general) for me.

Anyone know what's up with the farm in CT? The website says re-opening in the spring but no official date.
