Yeah the new BW sounds delicious. I grabbed Double Baked last night. Hopefully Tree of Unity lasts through the weekend.

The Tree of Unity is a bold, sophisticated blend of our renowned barleywine, aged to perfection in chocolate bitters barrels for fifteen months. The rich, caramelized flavor of Tree of Life are enhanced by the unique character imparted by these barrels, adding a distinct and interesting touch of classic tootsie roll chewiness to the blend. Indulge in the luxurious, molten toffee and bourbon-barrels goodness of this one-of-a-kind creation, and hopefully consider its message of Unity to inspire and uplift your spirits-Enjoy!

This does sound great but I'm not clear on whether or not this is double barreled?

I think it’s aged in barrels that originally held bourbon, and then were used to age bitters. So possibly third use single?

Or maybe the blend from the first sentence of the description references one of their tree of life blends that contain a portion of BA beer? I think you're right about third use bitters barrels. Can't wait to try it either way!

Hey Treehouse Tewks winter tent. I thought you said “heated” tent?! Shit is ice cold.

I expect some heat given the $$$$ coming in

It’s crowded inside. Lots of kids and families so not gonna get a table. Outside is ice cold. They say “heated” the four of us laughed. Cam pours can only be picked up outside. I don’t get it

10 draft and a few bottles and cans.

They rarely post the abv on any of the bottle offerings… no idea why. They’re usually the highest abv so it would be nice to know… unless they just assume you’ll know it’s 11%+ and at that point it doesn’t matter

I do have to say the draft pour of Greenest Green Guava was ridiculous! What a delicious beer.

Their draft variants are on another level. I like how they’re canning basically everything they do now. Green w/pineapple was a treat on tap, but now with Yellow , you can get it quite often and bring it home

Wafflebanger was a hard miss for my likings. Sadly I couldn’t even finish it. I always feel guilty when I drain pour…

Definitely not interested at all. I would give it a try if offered, but wouldn’t buy it

Yeah, some of the “fruited” ipas work for me, but this was far I sweet in a sugary way.

Concur that green machine is great! one of my all time favs from tree house (but under Gggreen!!)

wafflebanger i enjoyed—i thought i could detect maple but my friends disagreed. in any event, a good ipa with noticeable sweetness but bitter finish.

had the “privilege” of trying Haze and Very Hazy from september (so 4 months old)

Very Hazy held up better than haze. very hazy was still like 75-80% of its original. haze had fallen off to like 60% of its fresh quality

Yeah, 4 months sounds like way too long for my taste. I get antsy when the beers are getting beyond a month, but I think I'm a king hop snob. What do other people think?
