Some of us was just you. It was from his appearance on CRAFTED: https://blisterreview.com/podcasts/the-alchemist-co-founder-brewer-john-kimmich-part-1-ep-6

Also, Batch 6,000 is really good, but I still wish they included an actual description.

Oh, not just here. Many of the my friends and peers in ya know, real life, felt similar. It was just some bold statements and takes. Which I have no issue disagreeing with respectively. Still appreciate what he’s done and the list of excellent beers him, Jen and crew have produced.

I also remember you getting worked up over a Brienne interview pre-opening too for no reason. I know you were one of if not the first customer at SP, but it was kinda shitty to see play out in the build up to their opening. And neither of them said anything wrong.

Worked up no, but we should be able to discuss and question. You seem worked up now? It’s Saturday and 80. Go to the beach!

I can’t ever lose my homage the great Sweatshirt. Though if you never saw his picture that might not make any sense to some folks

Going to the Tewksbury location tomorrow. Which ones are the least dank/musty would you guys say? Not my preferred profile.

    I would try

Any of the green line currently.
    King Julius
    King jjjj
    Juice Machine
    Very yellow
    Concert beer
    Doomfire
    Any of the haze line
    Sphere
    Biggest one
    Any lager or Pilsner
    Any stout

Avoid all the Nelson or New Zealand cans.
Peacherine falls more in line with New Zealand mustyish. I love them but I think they may be precisely what you don’t prefer.
Maybe skip some mosaic heavy beers

    Should be in the clear

Woodstock is awesome, my dear teetotaler wife loved it (they have cute chickens!). I’d skip the beer pours and go for the cider. Will definitely hit it up again during fall foliage season. I did find it funny that the rules state “no public nudity” but yeah this is the Quiet Corner/yolo land. Plenty of restaurants and a few breweries around to visit if you’re coming from afar.

FWIW the last batch of Green that was available in Deerfield, mid/late July I think, wasn't totally great.
