Julius kicked. No line for Double Shot & TWSS.

Gave it up when I saw the solid red line on the Pike westbound, and went to Bog Iron instead.

It bears worth repeating that Double Shot is absolutely fantastic.

So excited for my first dark beers from Tree House! Got there at 5:20, 2 cars in the parking lot and no wait. The samples of DS & TWSS we had were delicious. My wife is pissed, she wants to lose 5 pounds but I keep introducing her to these tasty beers...

Yeah no joke it took us almost 2 and a half hours from Boston to tree house. Luckily we got the last growlers of Julius!

holy......that's crazy traffic on the pike. Must've been all the college move in days this weekend.

Glad I went Friday. Havent busted into the Double Shot yet but yesterday's Julius growler was deeee-lish!

Opened one of my growlers yesterday and I think this batch of Double Shot was my favorite so far

TWSS doesn't seem to get a lot of love, but it is a freakin' delicious milk stout. I last had it about two years ago at the old site and I thought it was good, but nothing to get excited about. The batch I had from this week was very much improved. Much more roasty, I'll be seeking this out a lot more as the weather cools.

Not to get too fan-boy on this issue, but if Tree House didn't make IPA's, I think I'd still be really happy with what we get from them. Between Eureka and TWSS to Old Man and Snowtober, I'm a huge fan. There have been visits when I silently praised a no-IPA day because the crowds are smaller and the beer is just as good.

I love their IPA and pales, but they are so much more than that. Old man is really good, hope to see it again. Double shot is by far the best coffee stout I've had. Hope to see a bottled barrel aged version one day.

Ugh, do I have to join Instagram now to follow Tree House? Wife has been bugging me to join, might as well capitulate...

Oh man. I can't make it out there tomorrow. Still have some Dr. J in the fridge to cry into I guess.

They do post some things on instagram that don't show up on the on-tap page. Like for example the instagram post today listed the hops used in Curiosity Seven while the on-tap page doesn't specify. Also it included a picture of the beer, naturally  . Also there are sometimes teases about things coming in the future, like a photo of them prepping peaches the other day.
