I may have missed this in the thread, but what was available in cans this past weekend?

Any idea of the shelf life of a Good Morning fill? I'm visiting Boston this weekend and was thinking of throwing up an ISO but only if it'll be good for a couple of weeks since I want to share with some friends in early September. I've found HF's growlers last that long, but not sure if that's universal on the 750 swing tops (if these are even swing tops).

Do it. First growler of GM I had at a share was close to a month old and it was magical! maybe more than a month, hard to remember as we were all to happy to care. I remember before tasting it thinking, man that's an old growler. Didn't matter. Dreams were made that day. And yes they are swing tops.

Never a guarantee with a growler fill but it should be fine. And yes, they are 750 swing tops.

I cracked open a growler of Double Shot yesterday that was filled 4/25/15 and it was as good as ever. As for GM, I drank a growler filled 11/1/14 during the Super Bowl and it was delicious

Thanks guys. That's what I was thinking, now I'll just see if I have something that someone with a growler wants!

I had another can last night and caught some slight hints of that band-aid/A&D ointment smell when I first opened it when it was cold. As it warmed that became less noticeable as the fruity aromas began to dominate. I also got the lingering peppery bitterness on the back of my tongue for a good 2 minutes following each sip regardless of temp. The general character of the beer is still the same but I feel like this latest batch is a little unusual when it comes to these details, especially the bitter finish.

Does anyone know when during the week we find out what will be available this upcoming weekend?

It varies, keep checking the ON TAP page on their website and @TreeHouseBrewCo on Twitter is generally the fastest way to get updates.

Agree with HeyHayward, but usually Wed at some point but sometimes it doesn't change until Thursday right before. They keep you on your toes. Also, you can just check this discussion, people are usually pretty on point when things pop up.

Unabashed Tree House fan here. Have also noticed this bitter detail on the latest batch of Green. Different from any drank previously, which would be at least 5-6 batches. Green is my favorite of all TH beers, and this one is definitely different to my tongue. Did not notice a big difference in appearance and did not get the described ointment smell. But yes on the bitterness, for sure.

I had a 3 month old 750 of GM on Father's Day...it was amazing. Of course the flavor profile changed but it was still perfectly carbed. Store it in the fridge not the cellar.

I'm guessing this is to ward off some of the insanity for GM & cans/growlers tomorrow. I think I'm gonna wait. I'd really like to get some GM and see what else they have on tap.

Ha. Yeah, I figured that. But, sometimes they throw in a different Pale or Curiosity, etc.

I'm visiting on Friday for the first time. Does this mean that they will probably still be offering these 2? Something else? Nothing?!

Would really like to try both at my 30th bday tasting next week if anyone is able to get any extras.
