They normally bring enough for each session and when that session's allotment runs dry they don't dip into the next session's supply. I don't think you should worry.

 

Hoping that Triple Shot at least will be available for growler fills so I can use up 6 hours of my life like usual to get beer.

 

I wonder if/how Give Me Truth differs from the "Truth" served at the Anniversary party last summer. That beer weighed in at 12.3% but otherwise seems to have had an identical life. It was sublime. For anyone going to EBF, this is obviously a "do not sleep on it" beer

My grandma lives in Monson so I am asking her to pick up some cans of Green and Julius for me (Assuming they are both available). What is the best day and time to go? I do not want to inconvenience her too much by waiting in a long line.

For any freshness freaks...just had a 12/16/15 Green and its maybe the best TH IPA I've ever had.
This is probably the oldest one I've ever had and it turned out to be the best. Obviously they aren't too shabby on Day 1 either.

 

Did anyone go on Friday during last years EBF? I'm guessing that fact, Superbowl and being closed on Saturday will make it a total shit show?

 

Not sure how the EBF influences crowds but the weekends when the Pats played certainly had an effect - big lines. I would assume the Super Bowl might too and, not to mention, the fact they're sending kegs to EBF likely lessens the supply, so even a "normal" crowd with less beer could make it tough. But one thing this thread always exhibits is that there are always windows when folks zoom in and out. Hit or miss.

 

Yup. All they had on that day was Good Morning. No other fills. Canning was just a week old at that point and nothing was on in cans.

 

Seems like 1,300 through the line is the new norm for Wednesdays. Curious to see if today's canning comes through or if they push it to tomorrow...

No reason to push it to tomorrow. Remember, they have an EBF session on Friday. Ideal scenario for them is to have everything sell out early Friday (already closed Saturday) so they rest of the crew can join them in Boston earlier.

 

Right - but they normally post on Twitter before 11am when they're doing a canning run that day. So it's reasonable to assume either their having canning issues, the beer isn't ready, or it's a silent release.

Now watch them post in 5 minutes...

 

The amount of attention people pay to their tendencies is awesome. Soon we're going to have analysts and statisticians in here. Hell! Vegas might start setting lines.
