Who cares if people showed up at 9 this morning. As long as treehouse doesn't have a problem with it why should you?

I was there on Thursday when they did the silent release of King Julius cans. You know what, it was hilarious. There were over a 100 people in line when staff came out and said that the can options were Haze (3pp) and Green (2pp). The utter shock and disappointment that many people expressed was funny. I was happy to be there at all, but was even happier when word spread just after the doors opened that KJ was in the house.

The reality is that they seem to be getting big crowds no matter how they approach it. Obviously people are picking up on the fact that lack of early (or any) information from them has often resulted in the release of a "special" can that day. Maybe Tree House will do a silent release of something on regular rotation to mix it up a bit and not let things become formulaic.

And you are right...lights on is effing delicious! Cheers!

Nice, please let us know if anything special is available. It certainly seems strange they haven't posted any new beers today

MAILLOT JAUNE (Imperial IPA - 9% ABV) - The Maillot Jaune (French for ‘Yellow Jersey’) is the classification and physical jersey given to the leader and ultimately the winner of the world’s most prestigious cycling race - the Tour de France! What better way to honor such a name than to brew a big and hop saturated Double IPA! Maillot Jaune is brewed with an array of American hops and a clean American Ale yeast to produce a bright and resiny DIPA! The aroma and flavor is vibrant in the glass presenting with notes of grapefruit peel, tangerine, and resiny pine. She finishes chewy and bold with a proper bitterness - a beer worthy of the name, indeed! (Go Jens!) 750 ML - $11 - Limit 2 750 ML PP

Hmm, interesting. Sounds good, was hoping for a stout for growlers... tempting, just wish another can release was part of the trip. I guess beggars can't be choosers haha.

Treehouse website still says a canning run for today. We'll just have to see.

This new one does sound awesome, hopefully these cycling series small batches show up more and more often so I can finally be there for one.

In any case, Rking, I wanna apologize as I know I've been engaging with you and coming across as an ass myself, which I certainly don't mean to do. From the perspective of someone who likes coming to this forum to read about what other people thought of tasty stuff and keeping up with the pulse of what's happening and when, it gets tiring when many of the threads about the more popular breweries devolve into a moral high ground of the "right" way to be a fan or customer. It's definitely not just you and it's also easy to see that you specifically are looking at it from a 'best interests of TH perspective' so I certainly can't really blame you. Ultimately I just think we're all better off chuckling at the looney tunes out there rather than getting into a pissing contest about what jerks they are, as I think 95+% of the people here are the good guys or at least cognizant of not being dbags.

BRIGHT (Double IPA - 7.8 % ABV) - Join us in welcoming Bright to the rotation of semi-regular Tree House offerings! Bright was brewed to be a clean and elegant showcase for one of our favorite hops - Mosaic! It is crafted with a simple malt bill and fermented with clean American Ale yeast to create a flavor profile that is more a function of its vibrant fresh ingredients than an expression of yeast character. Bright’s aroma is a cornucopia of citrus dank… The taste follows suit with notes of grapefruit, sweet berries, and clementine with a gentle orange rind finish. She is dry, soft, and adequately bittered resulting in a very approachable yet pungent Double IPA. We hope you find this bit of a departure as enjoyable as we do! $750 ML - $9 | 2L - $18 | Limit two 750 ML bottles

They had to limit fills today... There would be no beer left for tomorrow. I can only imagine how long that line is right now. Any updates on estimates of people there right now?
