Tree House Brewing Company (August 2017)

In and out in 32 minutes. The crew really workinf their butt off. Looking forward to twss in front of a nice fire watching baseball....fall like.

 

First trip today new brewery. Definitely a difference in carbonation with the cans from Monson. The Julius I'm drinking is almost prickly. Super tight bubbles and highly carbonated. Almost distracting. I'm sure they'll eventually dial it in, but totally different mouthfeel.

 

Kinda thought I was crazy, and tbh couldn't put my finger on what it was, but you're totally right.

Also, had my last Eureka with Mosaic last night, and it was unbelievably good.

 

C40 is now 9pp, would be kind of upset if I went last night and only got 6 and now it is 9.

 

Kind of upset over 3 beers. Stoic.

 

For most of last night you also got 3 Julius, though.

 

And 3 twss...

 

If a beer nerd is in the middle of the woods, do they still mutter complaints?

I am the type of guy that will give away 4 or 5 of the 6 to beer friends if they did not make it up to TH. So 3 more beers is 3 more beer korma points, not Stoic, lol,

 

I was up there last evening and hadn't had any Julius out of the new facility so trading 3 C40 for Julius (knew it would be great but still an unknown) was fine with me. Also I'm more a fan of variety than stocking up on a ton of the same beer, I am one to mix 4 packs and not walk out of Trillium with cases at a time.

Plus I understand Tree House wants Saturday to be a pour day, so their interest is moving all their cans out in less than 1,000 allocations and opening up the brewery for people to come and chill...

 

Hard to imagine a better Treehouse experience at Charlton than the one today. 9 C40, 3 TWSS, fresh full pour of Julius, lobster roll from the food truck, live music, beautiful weather, and an overall awesome vibe.

 

has TH posted their hours for Labor Day weekend?..same as other weekends?

 

Yes, they won't be open on Monday.

 

I think I'm finally going to go to Charlton on Friday. I can only imagine how busy they'll be...

 

I guess you're only talking about Saturday hours because they're never open Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday.

 

Having a Julius from 8/18 and it's just as citrusy and smooth as ever. It's much more full and luscious than when I cracked a few fresh.

 

So give it 10 days before cracking?

 

Never been to tree house. Will be in NYC Tuesday, leaving Thursday morning.

I planned to drive from NY early Wednesday to TH for cans...nothing listed on their site. The way I understand it, there could be one can option available this Wednesday? ...Or more? Maybe none?

Just trying to figure out if it's even worth driving down.

 

TH will have canning run Tuesday, and canning run Wed, with both cans going on sale Wed at open.
