this along with a more convenient location for many people. During my 2 visits to Charlton (wed/thurs evenings) I have stood in line with multiple people who were making their first trip to TH

Most cans have made it to a 2nd day in Charlton, some even made it to a 3rd day. That hardly ever happened the past ... year? in Monson.

Limits seen to be set to avoid 1 day sellouts.

I'll be interested to see case counts today and whether either beer makes it to tomorrow...half a case of Julius and Haze is the kind of lineup that wouldn't have even sniffed closing time at Monson.

Some weeks it would've barely made it to official opening time.

I remember Dean saying that he has to turn away people almost everyday with the message of "We have run out of beer," and it sucked for all parties. This intention would make sense. I just worry it won't help to cut down the crowd.

1st can day in Charlton was 7/19 right?
Weds opened with 6 Julius, 6 Sap, 2 Alter .. Alter must've been a small batch, or when they sold out on the 14th it was sold out in Monson but there was still some that didn't make the trip from Charlton?

Thurs 7/20 Added Haze 9pp, Julius 2 pp and Sap 3 pp made it to a second day 2/2
Fri 7/21 Added Green 6pp, I think Haze was still there at 6 pp? 3/3
Sat 7/22 no takeaway beer - Green only lasted 1 day 3/4

    Weds 7/26 Eureka w Mosaic 12, Bright w Citra 6
Thurs 7/27 Green 8 pp, Eureka made it to 2nd day, 8 pp, Bright did not 4/6
Fri 7/28 Doppel 9 pp, Green 3 pp, Eureka makes it to 3rd day! 2 pp 5/7 make it to day 2, 1/7 day 3?

Sat 7/29 - Pretty sure Doppel made it to the start of the day, but not sure

I think at least 5 out of 8 beers made it to a second day (not counting that small Alter allocation on 7/19), 1 out of 8 made it to day 3 (the massive 2000 case Eureka batch)

Doppel did make it to 7/29 at 6pp with 151 cases at open.

And on 7/21 the day started with Haze and Julius (2pp, each), Sap 1pp, and Green 6pp

So 3/8 made it to day 3 IIRC (julius and sap from 7/19 and eureka)

Another interesting stat... not including today, they've sold nearly 200,000 cans since selling out of Charlton. That's almost 4,200 cans per hour open (more if you factor in the sellout times where they've switched to just pints on some nights)

They opened the doors at 11 am today. I don't get it. They must be forced to open early/keep the lower lots open otherwise I don't understand rewarding these people.

For the 1000 case batches, they're probably using 120BBL fermenters and all upstream equipment can clearly handle the volume. But, how do you think they did the 2000 case Eureka batch? Does their mash tun, whirlpool, etc have the capacity to handle a 2000 case batch or do you think Eureka was brewed in parallel on sets of equipment (or I guess just a double brew day and into two separate fermenters)?

getting a full tour on video is great. They even have a gym for the employees. Gotta work off the beer!

Anyone else watching the facebok live video? The walk in cooler is massive! Too bad it's empty and not full with cases and cases of beer

In the live video, Dean said 6pm close on Wednesday and my heart stopped (planning on going today). He meant 8pm

    Whewww

My understanding is that their brewhouse is 60BBL (it was announced as 50, but seen references to 60 later), and their fermenters are sized currently at 60,120,240. So 2000 cases of Eureka would be a quad batch into one of the big size fermenters. Quad batches sounds like a really long day, but with a 3+ vessel system steps are overlapping, so hopefully for their sake it's not too awful!

(comparison, Trillium Canton has a 30BBL brewhouse, and I believe they now have 120BBL fermenters as well. I believe Monson had a 30BBL system as well, but I'm not sure if they had any fermenters above 60 BBL?)

Better hope for 1000+ cases of both if you're thinking you won't be there until after 6 PM. They sold out of 500 cases of Bright last week by 5:30, and we all know that a Haze/Julius pairing brings in bigger crowds than Bright/Eureka...

If they offer 6 pp Julius tomorrow, you have your answers to many questions.

If they could offer the core beers a few days per week that would help the lines pretty quick.

Man, I think it was just 3 years ago that my wife and I and one other couple got a "standing tour" (Dean's words) of that little improvised shed where they brewed the beer in the original Monson spot.

That is just some banana bonkers ass growth.
