It's a secret man. No one can be trusted with that kind of info. What a joke.

Is ATI&ATEWB the base beer for the rest of the canned stouts? I only ask because adjuncts are clearly absent from this compared to HOTS, MoC, S,S & HC... which all share in similarity to All That Is

I can't speak to the current batch, but the coffee and cocoa nibs were pretty strong the first time they brewed it. I preferred it to the all of the Charlton milk stouts I've been able to try.

Sorry in advance for the n00b question - how to Wednesdays usually look around open? Is it worthwhile to show up pretty early to get line life going?

Remember, Doubleganger:Alter::King JJJulius:Julius. Comparing Doppel to KJ is a better comparison.

I really do wonder why Doppel is core but KJ is rare, and why Double is a once in a short while treat while King JJJ is nowhere to be seen for years.

I understand and can see why the can line can get long, but why can't they keep the pour line moving? This is after buying tickets. What takes so long to pour these beers?

Yeah I've just never had KJJJ so I don't have a reference point. Can't imagine it's much better than DG though.

Thanks. I’m actually in and around nyc at the moment. Did a district96/equilibrium/Hudson valley trip Saturday instead. So worth it. Hassle free goodness.

Tuesday looks to be the day for TH. So the current availability list for cans and draft pours should carry over to tomorrow? Look to be there around opening. I know this is a th thread. Any other recommendations south, west, or north of Th that you can quickly recommend. Trying to avoid Boston metro.

^^^not a brewery but you must go to Armsby Abbey - a craft beer bar & restaurant in Worcester Mass. Not too far from Tree House - great tap list and great food - definitely worth the trip!!!

My personal favorite beer bar in the country. The perfect way to break up the drive between Treehouse and Trillium/Boston

Just got back from my first in person Tree House trip. It was just a few visits but it was great.

Managed to get there early on Thursday, the line barely made it all the way down the sidewalks and they opened pours around 1pm. It was perfect. Had a Moment of Clarity and Marshmallow All That Is and my much better half split her pours between Julius, Green, Sap and Doppel. Everything was unreal. Sat between two locals in the Adirondacks who were great conversation. It was a great first in person experience, lots of families and puppers running around and no chaos. The canning line is one impressive operation and it was a bit of a novelty to see @DigitalNate walking around with one of his pizza and a giant grin. We got our allotments and headed back to the AirBnB.

Friday was spent out on trials but we snuck in right before 8, we were the second to last people in line and got max allotments of Doubleganger and All That is. Kicked around the retail shop and did more BS'ing.

I've traded for Haze a few times in the past, all relatively fresh, within a month, but, this weeks batch of Haze was unbelievable. Doubleganger absolutely floored me as well. The hop saturation of that beer is so impressive.I can unashamedly say it is my favorite brew from them I have had, granted I haven't gotten the AAA or HoTS but I have recently gotten JM and KJ and VG and GGG. Double beat them all

    Can't wait to go back

What is the total brewing capacity currently at Tree House? What is the largest it can grow to be? Thx!

I was up there on Friday as well, and have to agree, Haze was the best batch I've had. I got a 12 pack of it the last time I went to TH - about a month before Charlton opened - and this batch was much better.

Doubleganger, which I'd had once before was as great as I remembered.

What's the best time to go on a Wednesday? I was thinking around 2pm, a few hours after opening and before after work people. Is that a good time or is noon better?

All depends on what gets released (silent). Generally, the line is long at 12 when they open due to the mystery and will die down within an hour if nothing big drops. Last week was all standard releases and I'd say the average wait time was 15 or 20min all day every day.

Going at 5 or 6 is pretty relaxed even when some silents get released like Very Green and a lot of times there will be pints served by then.

In my experience it is absolutely better to show up between 3-4. The initial rush will have died way down and it's unlikely anything will have sold out (save for possible low-inventory holdovers from the prior week) so you could be in and out 20-30 mins and may even get a few pours.
